Statewide Negotiations Update Meeting
Contract Negotiations Update
THURSDAY MARCH 4th
7:00pm
A Zoom Link has been emailed to you by your individual units.
Could we start getting daily emails of ongoing negotiations and progress? Not all of us can make the meetings and what co-workers tell us always gets messed up
I know a local newspaper editor, who owes me a favor, time to redeem it. An anonymous source says frontier communications corp cares so little about its employees, and so much about lining it's pockets, that it turns down a union provided health insurance proposal to save frontier up to 900 THOUSAND DOLLARS PER YEAR, and TURNS IT DOWN, while in BANKRUPTCY!!!!!! Oh, and i won't stop there, i will plaster this all over every newspaper NATIONWIDE, in your markets and every social media platform. You're already tarnished reputation will take a severe hit when i'm done with you.
Turning down a 900k saving because it's "too rich" and gives employees better insurance choices, combined with the trend for micromanaging every minute of our day to me shows a complete disdain on the company's part for it's employees. We are being treated as replaceable cogs in the machine rather than human beings. In a sense this has always been true, but in my opinion it's gotten worse. I mean saying no to almost a million dollar saving, during a bankruptcy, just to screw over your employees, is not just stupid but evil.
Has anyone seen or heard from Jeff. haven't seen him at the last 2 meetings. Is he OK.
