FRONTIER Declares 363 Medical Proposal

TOO RICH

FRONTIER SAYS NO TO PROPOSAL

  1. I for one do not understand how, when the company is in bankruptcy, can they "afford" to turn down ANYTHING that is going to save them a ton of money. Is it because they won't have control over the medical? Because they won't get a reoccurring kick back from it? I think an answer other than "it's too rich" is deserved!

We should tell them to take all their proposals and throw them away. If they can't accept a proposal that saves them over 2 million in 3 years, then we should not take any of their proposals

  3. I can't say for certain that the company would take kickbacks (legal or illegal) to force their expensive insurance on their employees and refuse a solid union insurance that would save the company and its employees a substantial sum of money. I can't say that, but it could be true. Have you ever wondered if the company might be getting lots of insurance company merchandise for sticking with their current plans? I mean, are they getting knick-knacks like office pens that have these words written along the barrel: "Proud supporter of a money-gouging insurance provider." Yeah! And remember that these are no ordinary pens - they are probably GEL PENS! Yes, these are precisely the sort of office supplies that would make company leadership turn its back on its employees. I have been working for the company long enough to believe that they would sell us out for less. They'd sell us out for a little golf pencil without an eraser.

  4. If the company cared about their workforce at all they would make a deal here on our insurance proposal. It would give union members a better overall health care plan coverage with better rates for us....and save them $900,000 a year. Although the company would end up just giving that savings to executives as bonuses I’m sure. It would nice if for once the company put the employees best interest first here....and in terms of health care at that....after a pandemic.

Invest in your employees & care about your customers.
That used to be how companies operated. How about trying that again?

  6. It seems pretty insulting that a company would turn down a money savings while also saying the coverage is to good for it's workers....I guess that's one way to make people angry if that's the goal.

  7. With apologies in advance to those that either want to, or HAVE TO, retire from this joke of an "organization". This "company" DESERVES to be liquidated and disbanded. You have destroyed a once good company to work for. That is, BEFORE FRONTIER and Maggie. Now, both your Employees AND your REVENUE PAYING customers absolutely HATE YOU. Some of you would sell Your parents out, as long as it benefitted YOU. I just don't know how any of you "managers" can look at yourselves in the mirror, You do not have the BALLS to defend your front line workers. COWARDS!

  8. I’m not sure how a company that is in bankruptcy can turn down a proposal that would save them 900,000 a year. They said no just because it was “too rich “ for the employees. That doesn’t make sense. Everyone wants a better insurance plan. We all want to save money!

  9. The problem is this company is anti-union. They don't want to be at the mercy of unions and will do whatever they can to get unions out. Including not doing what's best for the employee

  10. Bankrupt fiscally (questionable), morally, competence. Junk plant and software (dpi, simpl) equals JUNK SERVICE. Horrible work processes added on top means a race to the BOTTOM.

    2. Right. Cardinal sin# 1- calling out those that just want better work hours. With an assignors in California, where is the need to require employees in an EAST COAST assignment center to work past 6pm??

    3. Remember the more coverage we do the more valuable we are.

I am for staying open so what ever we have to do within reason we should

    4. We're going to need to "agree to disagree" on this subject. I think You're missing the point. This is not the forum to point that out. I have a background in Middle management in a larger company, and understand how Organizations make work placement decisions. I'll leave it there.

    5. We as the union (Brothers and Sisters) need to really look at the bigger picture this company has had no issue pushing us members around for years on end.. we are asking for better insurance and they are giving the reason that its too rich? are you kidding me? Was that how they all felt when they dispersed the millions of dollars they think they needed. we are asking to better our self's and our family's.. this is worth fighting for to the end..Gil is it true if we pay in the system for 10 years we get retire medical thru Ibew?

  14. Many of you Managers have screwed up a really good gig for so many, with your incompetence, and sheer vindictiveness. Most of you are just pathetic people. I truly hope the Jeffrie administration to come cleans out the garbage and keeps those who are deserving, and hires real professionals who KNOW this business.
