Henry Wege For Vice Chair

HENRY WEGE FOR UNIT 4  VICE CHAIR

I hope you will take the time on June 20th to vote for me for the position of Vice Chair. I have worked for Frontier as a Comm Tech in I&R for 8 years. Previously I worked as a union member in local CWA 1103 for 30 years. I have been on the E-board for 5 years. If you go to the union meetings you know me, I am the one who is at every meeting. I am interested in being the eyes and ears of the members, watching out for the members. I will represent ALL members equally and will work to ensure a level playing field for all employees. I will be available at any time for consultation on union matters for you. Remember that the Chair and Vice Chair will be at bargaining for the new contract and it is important to have someone there who has your interests in mind.

                                                                                                                                                                   Thank Thank You

Mike Pallay - For Unit 4 Vice Chair

Mike Pallay-  for Unit 4 Vice Chair

I have worked for Frontier for 13 years.  I started in Collections where I worked for 1 year then I transferred outside.  I have been actively involved in the union for over 8 years.  I have previously held the position of Unit 4  Recorder for 4 years & currently I am on the e-board, a position I have held for the past 4 years.  I feel that having this experience will help me with the everyday challenges that being Vice Chair brings. I am here to make a change!  I want us all to be united not divided as "inside & outside".  We are all under the same contract & should all be treated equal. There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed both with the outside techs and inside the call center- Being that I don't work in the call center I feel it will be beneficial to have someone represent the collections reps when needed, knowing that I will not be "influenced" by call center management. Running for Vice Chair isn't just about being there during contract time but it is a long term commitment including attending meetings as well as being available when fellow brothers & sisters need help. This position is not something that goes away after we leave the bargaining table. The Vice Chair is an extremely important position and needs to be held by an experienced and dependable individual that will always be available when called upon. Please take the time to vote for me on June 20th 2012 and elect me to be your new Unit 4 Vice Chair.

Thank You,

 Mike Pallay

Betty Vasquez - Collection Rep for Vice Chair

Betty Vasquez - Collections  for Vice Chair.

My goal in being elected to Vice Chair is to be able to provide the best efforts possible to suit our Union Members.  It is extremely important and fair to vote for someone that works inside to represent the Collections/Bilingual department as well only fair to vote someone from outside to represent our brothers & sisters that work in our fields and assuring our customers are getting the best service possible.

Being elected will give me the ability to speak on our behave, express our dedication to our job functions, to show Frontier we are the best offline collections office and outstanding bilingual center they have.  To ensure they understand the importance of us receiving a fair contract and some assuredness of job security.

 Thanks

Betty

Local 363 Update

The company has informed the union that on June 30th our CFM group will be eliminated and the work transferred to Rochester. This will effect four of our members in Unit 12. On Monday they will inform the company on whether they will be bumping or taking termination allowance.

One of the drafter positions will be going to Unit 4 Middletown. We also were informed that the Assignment group in Elk Grove, Calif will be eliminated and Sherburne will be getting approximately 11 assignment jobs.

The concession arbitration was postponed on Thursday May 3rd due to the arbitrator not able to make the arbitration session.  We are trying to get the arbitration scheduled for June.

Please remember to visit the website and submit your contract proposals. ( http://www.363ibew.info/)

Concession Update From Session 2

On Monday March 5th both sides met for the second of the five scheduled dates agreed upon with the arbitrator.

The outcome was that the company was willing to give 50% concession  to part of the membership which would have been acceptable.

The deal breaker was that the company wanted the North and Central members who wouldnt receive the 50% concession to get $30.00 off concession, whereas the South would receive only $ 20.00 off .  We stated to the company that all three areas would either have to get the same percentage or the same dollar amount off.  We firmly believe an arbitrator will rule that all areas have the same percentage.

We advised the company that will proceed to the arbitrator on May 3rd unless the company has a counter offer.
