Questions on Who Works Day After Thanksgiving

Q. Who works the day after thanksgiving?

A. The Company has to provide a list of the members required to work when the vacation book is first routed. No Later.  The 30% is continuously rotated year after year.

Q. What if I am on vacation or I am not regularly scheduled that day?

A. A member who is on vacation can not be asked to work that day.  Since the Day after Thanksgiving is a normal work Day.  Anyone whose tour has Friday off can not be asked.

Article 9.1.1.1 states that a minimum of 70% will be assigned off the Day after Thanksgiving.

Today the Company ad Union exchanged proposals on Contract Language.  Both parties agreed to come to an agreement that is in the best interest of all parties and especially our customers.
