Come Together!

We had some special guests at our negotiation session today. Besides our committee we had John Pusloskie, President from CWA Local 1170 Rochester, Brian Scott, Business Manager from IBEW Local 503 Monroe and John Kaiser, Business Manager from IBEW 320 Sylvan Lake,NY. CWA 1170 commences bargaining in January and IBEW 503 commences bargaining in January.

Working people are under attack everywhere. We ALL STRONGLY feel that it is time to "Come Together" and help each other.

We all have responsibilities and families to take care of. We need a FAIR CONTRACT THIS TIME. The people feel they were taken advantage of with the furlough. We are through with the disrespect shown to us as loyal employees at the bargaining table.

It seems that the company has been pushing for us to keep losing ground. The people are at their breaking point and we are not asking for the moon either. We, your loyal employees, are done being pushed around just for the sport of it.

It's time for you to be fair to us.

Everyone who works for their paycheck.....

Come Together.

  1. I agree. It is time we all stood up and supported ourselves. All together. Thank you to all of the other unions that supported us. We won't forget that.

  2. Brothers and sisters we met jointly today with the company. At the table we had three other locals sit with the committee and displayed our solidarity with each other.

The bargaining committee needs everyone to COME TOGETHER and show your solidarity!!!

  3. It's funny how Frontier's treatment of Their Employees mirrors The Washington DC Politician's treatment of Their Constituents. Think of Senators Barney Frank, Harry Reid and Arlen Specter- how disrespectful They Were and continue to be towards The People They're supposed to be "serving". Cutting Them off at Town Meetings, Voting for legislation that the People strongly Oppose (Obama-care, Stimulus (PORK) Bill, Cap & Trade (TAX), Ground Zero Mosque, etc). Frontier "Mismanagement"- Wake Up!! Politicians Who ignore Their "bosses" are likely to be shown the door Nov 2nd. Think About It. We've all had enough of Your Lies and Spin. We know Deland is a miserable Failure, Burnsville is not much better. You really screwed up Our Customer Relations reputation when You closed Gloversville. The reason Why My Brother AND Sister left Frontier & went to TIME WARNER- Deland's Inept Morons. Even Though Frontier has better products!! In the words of the legendary Mel Allen- 'How about That!!" Robert Jeffrey, in His latest "Plant Service Newsletter" says (Paraphrasing, not verbatim)- in Today's Times, We're all responsible for sales. WRONG!! Earth to Frontier- Let's start hiring People in Our call centers that can actually SELL, not merely enter orders with loads of mistakes, that HIGHER PAYING EMPLOYEES need to fix. If You "Mismanagers" had any real business acumen, You'd realize It's better to have a top notch Employee selling a Ford than a Moron selling a Mercedes. The Ford wins every time, despite the Mercedes being the far better Product. Let's see how Smart You "mismanagers" are!! Figure out My logic.

  4. Such a true statement there enforcer. But you know as well as I do the copmany wont get it the morons are Maggies pets and they can't do anything wrong because maggie says so. Why else would we pay another company for circuits and phone lines that we cant control. Bad buisness if you ask me. Same thing as when tow was in charge we are gpoing to be in texas with all the other phone companys and we all know how well that worked out. We need someone that knows how too run a phone company instaed of a bean counter that just wants to put money in thier own pocket all the time.

  5. For all you work at home reps not getting your sales. The company is still playing games. The outside work force has been beaten up over these take the leads ...over and over. For those of us whom believe that sales are your bread and butter, are having leads placed for us . In our names by supervisors. The same supervisors trying to make the numbers reflect what they want/need them to be. This is an outright insult. Remember a famous quote "nothing happens till someone sells something". Well let the proper people with the correct information sell somthing.Let them make their living and support their families. Stop the lies and false leads to make yourself look better.Treat your workers with respect. Start using some intergrity in your management.

  7. This message is for all our brothers and sisters in Johnstown! It is very very important that you attend the RALLY Wednesday Night October 6th at 7:30pm. It is being held at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown. Make sure you bring a co worker. i HEARD THEIR WILL BE FOOD SERVED.

WE need to mobilize everyone and make sure we are all on the same page. I dont wnt to hear chestertown is too far or boonville is too far or i have to bowl. This is our livlihood and future. We need to support our bargaining team and have a great turnout. You know there will be a mole or a rat in the group that is going to go back and kiss the companys ass and tell them how many showed up.

    Whats at stake:

    1. Job Security
    2. 911 going
    3. wah reps staying at 16.85
    4. wah getting lump sums and no raise
    5. sales to com techs
    6. uniforms
    7. losing day after thanksgiving
    8. medical % going to 20%

  8. An Experienced Sherburne AssignerOctober 2, 2010 at 10:07 AM

    Memo to Frontier

First of all, let Me say that Sherburne appreciates Their Jobs and feel positive about Their Jobs- as I'm sure that ALL OF 363 DOES- Techs, WAH, Collections, NOC, Directory- if I've missed anyone, feel free to "toot Your own horn". With that said, Here are Our DEMANDS:

    1. Adult Treatment

    2. Less Expensive Health Benefits with NO INCREASE in Employee Contribution, NO INCREASE in Co-Pays, Freedom to choose Our own Doctor and, PLEASE- LESS PAPERWORK/FORMS And LESS HASSLE!! Get rid of Prudential as Our Disability provider AND FMLA CONTACT- Prudential is WORTHLESS!!

    3. Salary Increases to mirror the quality of work and the DEDICATION AND CARE with which 363 Members perform Their daily tasks.

    4. Job Security: no more mind games, Threatening to move work at Bargaining Time. Just remember, If You continue to make TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT/MARKETING DECISIONS, and fewer frontline Employees are needed, Managers will also get the BIG OLD AX TOO!!

    5. Get rid of the "take the lead" program IN IT'S CURRENT FORMAT. And, Replace It with something with less Corruption. Sherburne Employees putting in leads, only to have the Deland "Geniuses" hold the lead, FAILING TO CALL THE CUSTOMER IN A TIMELY FASHION, letting the lead EXPIRE. Then, putting in Their own lead, following Up. This means that the Deland rep STOLE THE SALE!! Until this changes, and Frontier's Marketing Team learns how to promote Our Products/Services better, I can promise that MANY SHERBURNE EMPLOYEES will not be putting in leads- the Ball is in Your court!!

    6. Return the 401k Company Match.

    7. eliminate PFP and institute GWI (Gross Wage Increases) that, first, match the rate of Inflation and then increase the Employee's "standard of living" If Maggie can receive a 25% raise, I think the Morally correct action is to give the folks Who actually keep this Company afloat (despite Management thwarting Our efforts & sinking Our Morale!!) a 12.5 Percent Raise PER YEAR (Yes, that's TWELVE AND A HALF PERCENT).

    8. NO "SALES AND SERVICE" Added to ANY CRAFT EMPLOYEE'S TITLE!!

    9. WAH base pay $20/Hour, NOT INCLUDING COMMISSIONS!!

    10. Leave VACATION ROLLOVER/CARRY FORWARD Language in the contract!! I do not know of a SINGLE EMPLOYER in Chenango County NY that doesn't allow Their Employees to carry over Vacation Time- Companies MUCH SMALLER than Frontier- that is, PRIOR TO ACQUIRING THE VERIZON PROPERTIES!! NO EXCUSES OR SPIN, JUST DO THE RIGHT THING!!

Ok, That's it for now. However, stay tuned. There will be more coming. I've only just begun!!

  9. Fear no threats, this company thrives on our frieght and apathy, stay strong!!! Belive me Maggie has no issues with her personal budget when her bonuses are peeled from our backs, she should be ashamed!

  10. All we can do is stand together and be a united front! All Classifications need to come together. Maggie has not a clue what we go through as she sits in her office getting richer and more and more greedy. The company needs to realize that it's employees in NY are the ones that get dumped on since the rest of the centers have not a clue due to the **wonderful training** they receive. Enough is Enough! We deserve what we want. We deserve better pay and more RESPECT!

  11. Frontier should be ashamed at how little they think of their Collections Consultants, WAH reps and Bilingual Reps. And now they want to take away the few perks we actually have. Shame on you Frontier!! Take it from someone at the table, this contract will never pass!!!

  12. With 37 yrs I'm happy to reading all these comments about how we've all had enough of their crappy contracts!!! I'm glad that our local has joined forces with the rest of New York locals, this is the only way we are going to win this one.So, as they say in Rochester,UP THE REBEL!!

  13. The CEO sits shining like a diamond, while her NYS employes a.k.a dumping grounds clean the mess of the precious Deland office Enough is enough! United we stand. What takes a great leader to be one is the Caring working hard NYS employees backing her!
