Who Are You?

Our bargaining committee is unified and together. We know we have the people behind us as never before.

One of the biggest issues that the people have is that they have hard time believing what the company tells them. There is a certain lack of trust that needs to BE REPAIRED. We are told that we will see more jobs come to our area, only to be disappointed.

We are told because of company finances we need to choose between layoffs and a furlough. We do it. We reluctantly take the furlough. A DAY LATER we see proof that it did NOT have to happen at all. A terrible slap in our face.

All we get is demands for more work with LESS PAY. As we watch others get loyal employee rewards.

It wasn't always like this. Not like this.

What happened to the company?

Who are you?

Stay Strong, Stay Solid, Stay United.

  1. The only way we can start trusting this company again is if they show good faith and budge on what we r asking for but as we all know how that goes! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone so fair!!! Got a few long weeks ahead but we stand as one!!!! Go 363

They want us at Lump Sums Again

We also dont work splits for the 10% extra. we do it for schedules only.

DO NOT TRUST ONE SUPERVISOR THEY WOULD SELL THEIR OWN TO GET AHEAD

  4. Great idea on this Blog. I have a good feeling that this is going to EXPLODE as Bargaining continues and more People awaken from Their slumber. This Evil Company Disrespected Us by Whining about the bad economy and their "expected revenue losses"- knowing full well they were about to make a major announcement that could please Their "real" customers on Wall Street- and "asking" Us to Sacrifice Part of Our paychecks. To make matters worse, these arrogant, evil People, Who run this Company, used the Kindness and Compassion of the Frontier "Family" against Us by threatening Job Cuts if We didn't agree to the Furlough- knowing that We'd "do the right thing to save Jobs", which is an actual Quote from an E-Mail sent to the Whole Company by Maggie. They then "rubbed salt in the Wound"- by flaunting Contractors in front of the Sherburne Center Employees- while People were taking Furlough time and the Phones were "ringing off the Hook", due to being short-staffed. Nice Job Frontier "mismanagement". As Usual, You act first, then Think later- the opposite of rational behavior. Well Frontier- You had better make Your offer a VERY GOOD ONE. Otherwise, It WILL BE VOTED DOWN. No More Bull. The D.C. Politicians are not the Only Ones that are going to feel "the Wrath of the People"- NO MORE DISRESPECT!! You People are amazing, You violate Your Own, self-created "Values"- One of which is "Treat One another with Respect". We Respect You by voting in a Furlough and You DISRESPECT US by: 1. Announcing a Massive Access Line Acquisition and, much later, 2. Paying a $5000 Bonus to approximately 300 People, which adds up to approximately 1.5 Million Dollars, or a Couple Hundred thousand Dollars MORE THAN WE SAVED YOU BY VOTING IN THAT FURLOUGH!!! I must say that a whole lot of Employees lost A LOT of respect for this Company over the last Year or Two- believe Me, I know. GO 363 TEAM, WE'RE BEHIND YOU AS NEVER BEFORE.

  5. Unfortunately everything that Frontier does is for the all mighty DOLLAR. The company operates under the guise that our customers are important, when it is only their $$$'s that matter. I have watched this company deteriorate and am disgusted in the direction that is has gone. I remember when I was proud to say that I worked for the phone company, now I don't tell anyone unless I am asked what I do for a living. I am embarrassed at the way this company is operating. A companies true values and direction are a reflection of how a company treats it's employees. We are the bread earners for Frontier and we expect to be valued, we haven't had a raise, took a furlough, our taxes, food, gas, energy, and everything else has gone up and yet our spending power has gone backwards. We need a fair contract or a NO vote is in order!!!

  6. To my Brothers and Sisters in New York,
You are not alone in your fight for a decent wage, respect in the work place and safe working conditions. When Frontier ask for furlough time, tell them to ask Verizon for their money back. Frontier had no problem in ponying up 8.6 billion dollars to buy 14 states from Verizon. It's a matter of corporate greed, not corporate need. Let us know what we can do here in Ohio to help. If we do not all hang together, we surely will all hang alone! In Solidarity.

  7. Time for the WAH and Collection Reps to step it up and speak your mind. Little by Little they are stripping you of everything.

    WHAT CLASSIFICATION IS NEXT

  8. WAH reps we need to stick to our guns!! The company is now refusing to pay the wah and collection committee. They want them to take the time excuse no pay to sit at the bargaining table. Other departments had their say with pay. This should show where the company thinks we rate.

  9. TEAM MEETINGS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE : When you're told this week what a GREAT job you do & thank you for all your work - Ask your supervisor- Where's my raise ? At every other company - you are rewarded with Better hours, more paid time off, higher wages for a job well done- So ask your boss when you'll get your next raise!

  10. A Concerned Frontier CustomerOctober 4, 2010 at 9:48 PM

I was given this Blog Address by My Brother, a Loyal Longtime Employee of C&U/Contel/GTE/Citizen's Telecom/Citizen's Communications (all Very good days by Today's standards) and, sadly, Frontier. I must say that I had no idea how disrespectfully that These loyal & knowledgeable NY Frontier Employees are being Treated by Their Management Team. While I do realize that These Telco Employees have decent paying Jobs- given the economic Climate in NY, Their Jobs are not average in required skill level & required on-going Training. These Jobs cannot be compared to ANY OTHER JOBS IN CENTRAL NY. You have to go to NYSEG/National Grid/Time Warner to compare "apples to apples", not NBT, NYCM, Preferred Mutual, or Agro-Farma. These Dedicated, Compassionate People's Standard of living has Declined since Frontier was bought by Citizen's Communications several Years ago. I must also say that if These People decided to Strike, I'd be in Their Corner. Oh, one last thing, I'm actually a Conservative Politician, at the County Level- imagine, a Republican siding with Labor!! The GOP is typically with Corporate America, AGAINST UNION LABOR. Not this time. I'll be sure to share My sentiments to all of My local Contacts and fellow Frontier Customers. If Frontier Management continues with this nonsense, Maybe I'll end My 37 Year association with Frontier's Phone Service (and HSI & DISH). and go to Time Warner. Ms Wilderotter, You ought to be ashamed of Yourself- I thought You had the best of intentions running this Company. Maybe You should look for Work Somewhere else, before You completely ruin this Once Great Company.

  11. Dear Brothers and Sisters,

we started our bargaining sessions here in West Virginia. Some of the proposals they are giving us are the same they have been giving national wide.

    Uniforms
    Carryover - just one week
and some other great pipe dreams.

    Stay strong, we will

we hope cecilia does not come to the TCC4 meeting. We do hope that scab Holmes comes the one who fought the unions. we dont want him in our union house

  12. Can we please stop with the evil company perfect employee crap? If your argument to me for what you want is based on the company being evil, I will tune you out! If Maggie makes $1 trillion or $100, I don't have a right to her money, so don't argue that way. But if you believe the job itself is worth more money and inflation hasn't been taken into account, then I'm with you. So lets be wise and not fools.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yea we can do that as soon as they give us the 1.5 million they stole from us. That, is evil. You can "tune" us out or come stand up with us all. We don't have time to convince you of the reality that you should be well aware of.

You sound like a manager and you probably are.

  14. Real Nice Frontier, Are you afraid to realy hear the truth about WAH issues? All you hear is what Catherine has to tell that whiny little brat Cecilia(I'm Better than every one else)Mckenney.

Stop treating us as second class citizens!!!!

Treat us like you want to be treated.

Oh yea there is an open door policy, but it really is closed. If you speak we will suspend you.

We wish we had a supervisor like Middletown and Sherburne who cared about their people. Our's in Johnstown does not need to care because she will have paid trips all over the country to other WAH areas.

Maybe the company should put her in charge of just NY reps, then you will hear how great NY is. Because her job will depend on it. NY reps do not trust her as far as you can throw her. She will sell you in a heart beat.

HEY CECILIA PEPSI SUCKS(another fine non union company). COKE ROCKS !!!!!

  15. As a tech frankly I am tired of doing the work of multiple departments that is expected without the additional pay. We are expected to be an outside plant engineer, a sales rep, a tech support rep, an assignor, a marketing rep, a walking bill board, our own supervisor, etc... all while also performing our own job functions. We are also encouraged to talk up the company on our OWN TIME without additional pay. I am sure this happens in other departments as well. It is my feeling that wages across the company should not only be equal, but in line with the work that is done by the employee!!! If former Verizon techs and reps are paid more than legacy employees, then the pay should be brought up to that level, there should not be regional discrepancies as the work is equal. After all the company loves to say that a "com tech is a com tech" I am sure that they also say a "sales rep is a sales rep" whether they are WAH or not. If our CEO can get a 25% raise from the company, then the company can afford a descent raise for the rest of the employees as well.

    ReplyDelete
  16. **********It's very important WAH starts speaking out! ******* At this point, our concerns will not be addressed at the bargaining table- Until the company is willing to allow 2 bus reps & 2 res reps attend with Paid time off! As you WAH's are aware - our issues are never ending, our pay is never increasing, our stress is always high! How do you feel about that? We need to hear from you!

    ReplyDelete
  17. this is the way they treat their managers, no raises, took a week of pto time from them tehy pay from 25 to 35% of their insurance premiums. Also if they love the sales and service title sooo much why don't they call their out side plant suoervisors "sales and service technical supervisors" instead of just plain technical supervisors? Probably would have to put them on steps for not selling.
Another thought when Maggie talks in front of your group just think theres about $1200. to $1500. per hour standing there. Maggie said she wouldn't take a raise because of the furloughs but hey what about the 3 to 5 million BONUS oh we forgot yhat dosen't count. it's a BONUS..
PFP we were told every yr. they would re-evaluate the "goals if the techs. didn't make them. They do the increase them make it or not. PROMISE MADE PROMISE BROKEN.!!!
I was once told the difference between a FRontier supervisor and a snake is a snake dosen't have ears...

UP THE REBEL STAY UNIOIN STRONG

PLEASE PLEASE DON'T DRINK THE KOOL AID I'M NOT EVEN SURE ABOUT THE WATER.

  18. I am a WAHNY rep and I for one am so sick of doing my 3-5job duties and getting less wages than when I worked my one job.....just makes me sick every day to sit here knowing my pay will probably never increase because there arent enough people in this union with backbones to stand up and fight for what we deserve....as soon as the company screams/threatens layoffs or wahny will go to another state...we back off...I for one have never voted a contract thru since Ive worked for the company...SO AS A WORK AT HOME REP IN NY...I SAY LETS FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT AND SAY NO UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT............. PFP needs to go..........And for the Union Board..dont come back to us until u have a fair deal...dont want to hear how this is the best u can do.....NO MORE BULL......STAY UNITED ......

  19. To the Anonymous Post, asking to stop the "evil company perfect employee crap". If You're a fellow union Brother/Sister- wake up. We agreed to a furlough, based on a bunch of lies from Management. Union Employees had the best, honorable of intentions (save Jobs for fellow Union Members, Help Our Company save $$ to battle Our competition). Are Union Employees Perfect?? No, and I wouldn't want to be held to that standard. However, I know of no Union Employees that would conduct Themselves with the level of Ethics that this Company's Management has. If, as many suspect, You're a Manager, You're in a Lions Den and would be well-advised to stay out.

  21. I am sick and tired of this company treating us NY employees like a third world country. I would in middletown and we BUST out butts everyday just as those NYWAH reps do. THey NEVER SHOULD OF CLOSED GLOVERSVILLE DOWN! we would never be in this mess now! Now all we do is clean up for Deland! Deland this Deland that..They get friggen PIZZA partys and we can't even get OT. WTF! If the company doesn't change direction soon we will all be out the door. I understand selling is a part of life but if they don't start selling stuff that ppl can actually afford we would have aleg to stand on. GET RID of the ETF's. How about that as a customer retainer! <<>> we have all dealt with this abuse long enough! We all want a fair contract and im tired of listening to the company whine that they don't have enough money when we all know that is a load of YOU KNOW WHAT!

  22. 12:16 PM - I agree! We need to stand together here big time and I can see that starting to happen.

  24. P4P? How can they call it pay for performance? When it is all based on sales? The company needs to realize that exceptional customer service is what will save access lines. But yet nothing in P4P s based on exceptional customer service. 60% eight on net revenue, when all we are fed repair calls, and the infamous "overflow" queues. Seems they took all the data from WAH year one, so that P4P could be restructured to not pay more monies. Another slap in the face for NY WAH.
The CEO & CFO have traveled all across the USA to thank employees, and praise them. The last time Maggie spoke to WAH live was to shut our center down, and throw us out on our badges! Heck, out "new Frontier" meetings was done via webex, what we are not good enough to be seen in public?
Management has sucked the life out of us, and has left our wallets dry, and has left us with no moral whatsoever. Must be their idea is to isolate us until we fell so bad we quit. So much for the company values. That's right, they are only used for WAH in disciplinary matters.
Furloughs? The were used as a tool to purchase Verizon, but again we were fed more lies!
Welcom to the New Frontier, if their mouths are moving them its lies on more lies.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL!

  25. as you can all see this company gets cheaper and cheaper. Now they wont even pay for someone to go to the table and help answer questions on a particular topic. I think they just want the union to not have an expert there so they can say see you dont need anything more than what we are giving you. Trust us we know what is best for your people.
Give me a break we all know they only think about lining thier own pockets. The co could give 2 craps about the union members in NY. We need to continue to stand togather and not give them an inch. Its like the old saying givr thrm an inch and they take a mile. Except frontier will take more than a mile the take the food right out of your childrens mouth.

  26. If our CEO can afford to get a 33% wage increase due to the increased responsibility, then the company can afford to give us at least a 10% increase for all of the additional responsibilities that have been added over the last couple of years without a wage increase!!!! If we get a poor offer I have a NO vote waiting!!

  38. I'm was glad to see my Sisters and Brothers rock that place tonight and have such a great reaction to the "plan" that was discused. I think the plan is ingenious and something never done before. I am proud to be part of it.

It felt good to see everybody realize that there IS something we can do to protect ourselves. You could see a change coming over the room. It was amazing.

No more falling for BAD FAITH BARGAINING. The whole place is still burning up about that furlough and the "suprise gift" that came right after it.

    No more slapping our face.

Here's a novel idea, how about the company comes to the table and treats US like the LOYAL EMPLOYEES WE ARE - and the MOST EFFICIENT? Instead of trying to screw us - BE FAIR TO US FOR ONCE. You give my furlough money out to other employees and you don't think I'm gonna be pissed next time out?

WE SHOULD PLASTER THAT FURLOUGH STORY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. LET THE TRUTH SET US FREE. WE WILL GAIN PUBLIC SUPPORT AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN.

Why go that far though? Come on and stop the corporate bullshit of taking from the workers for the simple reason that you can. Be fair!

To my fellow workers.....just follow the plan.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Trust is EARNED not given out just because certain people are in a position of power- very much like respect. Frontier has a management team that clearly does not have respect for the workers that have EARNED respect for many years- the workers that keep the company operating. The workers have earned trust because they are still getting the job done, even though we are doing the job each day and doing it very well.

You would think someone in Stamford would realize that when your workforce- the PEOPLE that face your CUSTOMERS each day- are understandably mistrusting of management, it will show in body language and possibly attitude without any thought. Extra energy has to be consciously put out to restrain the growing bitterness of working for a company that simply does not care about its workforce.

The furlough was just a way to free cash for the Verizon purchase that was obvious. Comments about the furloughs put one of us in jeopardy for our job. These are the people we are trying to negotiate with- thug mentality and a misguided sense of who they think they are.

We need to fight hard against a management team that does not keep their word. How much money and time do they have to spend on arbitrations before they get the idea that they are sinking their own ship?

There's no respect earned for liars and management has lied too many times to us.

  42. I thought of writing our local news paper so they can post the article for our public to know how unfairly our NY employees are treated. I'm sure the public will be disgusted that the money they use to pay their telephone bill only lines corporate pockets. My family, friends & neighbors all use Frontier because they think it lines MY pocket. We're a tight knitt community and support eachother. If they knew the crap that 'really' goes on at Frontier I'm sure they'd leave for another carrier. Guess what Frontier, our communities will support us, the labor workers, they will not however support Frontier if you keep disrespecting us and treating us unfairly!

  43. In growing up, my parents never slapped me in the face. I'll be damned if as and adult I allow Maggie to EVER do it again!

Come on NY, now is the time to stand up for yourself. No more hiding your tail between your legs out of fear! What kind of company are they that they have to "scare us" into getting what they want! What about what WE want. What about what we want for our family! What about whats FAIR! Have your voice heard!

    ReplyDelete
  44. What's "the plan" us down in middletown don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Many of the union members may not be privy to the mental workings of the very highest echelon of Frontier management. Some have been the target of the unbalanced and erratic mental process that comes from questioning our management about action relating to employment.

Paranoia- recent changes to company policy concerning social networks and the "bashing" of the company have been put into effect. Other actions- the complete blocking of certain domains so management can be spared comments from critics- way to show good critical thinking and intelligence, management. I feel like I'm back in middle school again- pass me a note in PE and we'll meet out back after last class, or else I'll Tweet about you endlessly and un-friend you on Facebook.

Lack of Self Esteem- we all need to look in the mirror and decide where are loyalties lay. Being proud of those loyalties gives us self worth and good self esteem. Upper management has decided to worship and put all loyalty in the all-mighty American dollar. While we workers are looking to have a roof over our family's heads, food on the table and maybe a vehicle to get us to work, upper management stashes away stock options in trust funds in an effort to, oh, let's use this random example- prove our self worth to a parent that may think we haven't really been as successful as we could have been (or our siblings are) and now have brought shame to the family name. Money does not = a successful human being (it just means you can get your roots dyed twice as often as a working class person).

Greed- see above. Upper management has proven time and time again that they value what goes into their pockets (and trust funds) over the well being of the middle class workers that get the job done-time and time again (think Daffy Duck and his full-body hug of a huge diamond, muttering, insanely, "'it's mine...all mine!!"). Proof of the greed has been painful and harsh in some instances- Bill Gates didn't fall for strong-arming (YAHOO!!)-neither should the union. Bluffing gets old except for use in poker games.

Sloth- No R&D department? Fast-follow and do what other companies do? This is what you get when you run a company and have no real working knowledge of what the company provides and no creative thinking process. Decades of knowledge that is within many Frontier workers is wasted because this company does not have internal training programs. Lazy, management, very lazy of you. While the rest of the world goes fiber and wireless, we clunk along with copper and hope that the older population continues to want POTS. Why do we have to go to external schools to get training on systems we may never have? Because of the sloth of management. We know what's down the road and some of us are preparing for it.

Bullying- put yourself in the place of anyone that works in that Stamford office-scary, huh? After the worker suspension for the comment about the furlough insanity last year those Stamford non-union types must walk around in fear of turning their eyes a certain way or laughing at the wrong time. In some Management's presence that could mean you are out of a job and those folks have no union to protect them. You have a union and it will protect you from the paranoia and lack of self esteem that is apparent in very upper- management- support your union!

The upper management of Frontier would provide endless fodder for a first-year psychology major at any college in the US. I feel for the negotiating team because dealing with unbalanced and less-than-stable attitudes and mental processes can not be easy. Everyone should know what the negotiating team is dealing with.

Management has not had clear thinking or visualization in many years and it's origins are easily traced.

    Have a nice day! :)

  49. What a great turnout last night !! The meeting was very imformative and made me see that together we can make things happen. I was very impressed to see a wide variety of classifications at the meeting. It was living proof that we are united and we are tired of being the red headed step child.

Thank you to everyone in Charleston West Virginia, thank you to Monroe, NY, Thank you to Rochester,NY. It is heart warming to see what support you get when you need it. We will be there for you.

As our leaders have advised us, and so far they have been right on target.

DO NOT DRINK THE KOOL AID !!!

sitting here in upstate NY i look around and see all kinds of jobs going to the Sherburne area, and all kind of postings in Middletown. I do not see any upstate. Why is that???

I firmly believe as do many of my brothers and sisters that the supervisors in those areas strongly stand up and work for their employees. What has ours done here in upstate NY. Absolutely nothing she did not fight for the 12 WAH jobs that went to Rochester. She does not care her job is PROTECTED!!! She gets to travel to all these areas.

Lets stay united and let the company know that we really enjoy working here and want this company to survive and flourish. All we want is a little respect and a fair contract for all.

For all my fellow co workers nation wide. Here in NY we say strongly and together

You havent brought one WAH job here

Just to see who bread is buttered with OUR hard work while we can't even get the crust anymore.

I'm so mad I could spit fire.

They better hope we don't have to go all the way through with our plan cause THEY are going to LOSE - NOT US.

  53. I have enjoyed reading the above posts. All the Brothers and Sisters have great valid points and I do hope the bargaining team realize that when they are at the table. I want my regular wage back. This PFP has dropped my check over 20k in the last 2 years. I cant afford to work here. Not only do I have to worry about food on my table, clothes on my kids back and how are my bills getting paid. Well if Maggie gets a raise I want one also. WAH we sell it repair it and collect it but our pay does not go up it goes down. NOT FAIR.. Things need to change... United we stand DIVIDED we FALL

  55. My daughter just gave me this site. I will make a promise to Frontier. If you people mistreat these employees you have that work so hard and take pay or money away from them this MOTHER will wage a campaign through the many groups I belong to and I will single handedly cripple you in my area.

I cannot believe the stories I have heard of you doing to them. You are NOT a professional company as far as I am concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Paid slave. I too would like a bonus, or maybe even alittle respect.... ok how about a thank-you job well done??? does this even exist anymore in the Frontier work place. I hear sell, sell, sell, do more with less, work late to get the work done, don't work late company can't afford it, no balance between work and personal life is possible. The management lies ...putting in false leads for techs to make their numbers . To bad wah can't put in false leads to make their numbers. Remember all "nothing happens until someone sells something"

  57. "this MOTHER will wage a campaign through the many groups I belong to and I will single handedly cripple you in my area."

    YES!!

When I worked in the call center and Minnesota came online I was told by the Minnesota customers about how they chased a cable company out of their town. It IS possible. They were not happy when Verizon sold them out to us and they threatened the same thing if they didn't get good service.

Corporations have to know that people are just as fed up with big business as they are with politicians. There is a strong current running through this country to vote them out so corporations shouldn't be surprised when customers and workers get fed up. There ARE options other than landlines now and customers know it.

More customers should know how management treats the workers.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Please... Psych 101: although I agree with what you are saying, My concern is you giving the idea of an R&D department. Do you realize that would require a minimum of 14 vps in Frontiers world? That would allow even less opportunity for us to get back some of the money they have taken from us.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'M SICK OF IT! I am so tired of all the BS. We are lied to time and time again. The only thing we can be sure of is that our future is uncertain and the company will continue to try and break us and take as much away as they possibly can. WE ARE STRONG!!!! We have had our live's turned upside down. We have been threatened. We have feared the unknown and of the loss of our jobs and money lonnnnggggg enough! This time we are all MAD AS HELL AND WE ARE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!

We have lost thousands of dollars per year in income. We have had to take on more job responsibilities with less pay. We have had to deal with numerous system issues that continue. We have to try 2 to 4 times to call another department only to have the call disconnect in mid-conversation. I have to tell my customers that I am sorry that I cannot transfer them. We are the phone company and our managment chooses to use systems that do not work. WHAT A JOKE!

I am very excited with our union this year. The rally last night really opened my eyes. We were all so excited with this site and to see everyone laugh and enjoy themselves was a nice change. It was the best union meeting I have ever been to. This site is the key, the songs stir emotions in us and make us realize we do deserve more. We have been treated like the RED-HEADED STEP-CHILD for far too long. Why is that? I feel that this site will unite us even more, we are all connected and we are all sick and tired of the way we are treated. This company needs to show us that they appreciate us.

We deserve a fair contract. And if the company wants to take more away from us with their poor excuses and not give us more pay, and realistic goals then I MYSELF AND MANY OTHERS WILL VOTE NO--AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!!

WE ARE NOT AFRAID ANYMORE!--UNITED WE STAND!

  60. 600 Loyal Employees in NYOctober 7, 2010 at 2:03 PM

What a great feeling I had last night at our rally in Johnstown,to see so many of my brothers and sisters come out and show their support was amazing. We are all in this together, we all have the same goal in mind. To enhance our working conditions, get a fairs days pay and to satisfy the customers.

We all need to stick to the plan that was presented and to spread the word out amongst our work groups.

If we all stick together and display our solidarity the company will have to take the blinders off, wake up and show us that they appreciate what we do and compensate us with a fair contract that we will vote "Yes" for.

The one message we heard from everyone last night was "Enough is Enough" we will not allow them to pick us apart one classification at a time and we are ready to do what ever it takes to get our message heard. This contract is for all of us, not just certain groups.

Brothers and Sisters just step back and take a look. Whats different here, we have never had a blog, CWA and IBEW come together in support and a plan that was put together by our bargainiong team during contract talks before. This is just the begining we have been told, so lets all together buckle up and jump aboard this locomotive and fight for our rights.

    The time is now !!!!

For all our CWA and IBEW brothers and sisters

  61. Anon- do you really think anyone in Stamford would lift a finger to start an R&D department? They would have to know what the telephony industry is all about first and we know they don't have a clue or the company wouldn't be in the position its in. The debt Frontier is now carrying is incredible and buying Verizon lines did ZERO to push the stock up.

R&D would require thought and there's no one in Stamford that can handle that. They are too busy attempting to mimic successful telephony companies. They'll just keep taking ideas from the others.

I'm fairly sure management knows all the tricks of the trade. No one is letting out any grand secrets on this blog.

  65. Remember back about six or seven years ago when management was in a hiring mode and they had to go "out of town" to try and coerce potential employees to work for Frontier? Why? Because the company has attained such a bad reputation in the local community here in the Johnstown/Gloversville area that no one in their right minds will come to work for the company because of the way Frontier treats their employees. It seems that if the company really believed in those "values" they preach they would treat their employees with "Respect". Instead we're treated like we're in kindergarten. This company definately does NOT practice what it preaches! Isn't the term for that HYPOCRITE?. What's that old saying: You'll attract more flies with honey rather than vinegar. You can bet they're all slipping their percentage of YOUR sales into their pockets even though your not seeing a dime of what you busted your ass to sell. Right from your supervisor on up. Oh? Didn't know they get a percentage of your sales? Why do you think they ride your ass so hard.

  70. Great Rally last night in Johnstown!!! I was there....and heard my name...just to let you know...I am not a WAH....but I am concerned for them!!!

Our CEO has now become OBama's Mama!!! WOW!!! What an honor to become the next executive with their hands in the taxpayers pocket!!! She has stolen from her employees...now it is the rest of America's turn!!!

Back to the rally!!! How exciting to see all the members there. Let's keep our faith in our bargaining committee. They are trying really hard to put up with the BS from the company. They are standing strong against the company!!

Thank you Sam...you made the "blog" experience so clear...and your presentation was great!!!

Thanks to the other union reps that were there also.

Thanks to CWA for backing us!!!

Reps, you deserve a raise...who wants to make your base wages for 3 MORE YEARS!!! I have been here many years, and each year our jobs have developed technically. We deserve a fair raise.

Catherine.....stop whining to Cecelia!!! The other areas get jobs because they keep troubles 'in house". They solve their employees griefs. Catherine immediately whines to the "big guns". No wonder we are thought to be such a pain in the a** to the company. They hear about us all the time, because Catherine can't keep it "in house." Get us a boss that can deal with issues, not a tattle tail!!!

    DON'T DRINK THE KOOLAID!!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think the company is confused. They forget that we love our jobs, are proud of the job that we do, and strive to "grow" the business. Customers pay our wages. We are not stupid!!!

Now if the company would just let us do our jobs, and recognize the great job that we do, AND PAY US A DECENT WAGE!!!

Bobby C....your name is in our contract.....know that we care, we do a great job, we want to get and keep our customers, make money for our shareholders (of which, even we are a part of), and pay your massive wages as well. BUT WE WANT DECENT WAGES....AND DECENT BENEFITS!!! NOT TO MENTION THE PERKS IN OUR LITTLE YELLOW BOOK, CALLED ARTICLES!!! Please, please consider bending just a little, I promise you will enjoy it!!!

    DONT DRINK THE KOOLAID!!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Negotiations wouldn't take so long if the company wasn't trying to take from us. THEY OWE US FROM THE LAST TIME WHEN THEY LIED TO US ABOUT THE FURLOUGHS AND THEN GAVE OUR MONEY AWAY TO WHAT THEY CALLED "LOYAL WORKERS".

    Slappppppppppp right in our faces.

Bobby C why don't you just come to the table with a decently modest wage increase as your only change? How much more do you NEED to take from us and why? Our little chump change doesn't make a dent in a company who gives multi million dollar salaries and bonuses to their big wigs. We can make money if you would let us do what we know how to do. All of this posturing back and forth is us trying to dodge their bullets.

Why shoot at your own Army Bobby?

We really are united here and we will not take our beating lightly. We have a few avenues to take to spread the pain if we need to but it shouldn't come to that.

    United We Stand!

    ReplyDelete
  73. We need fair and open negotiations, pure and simple. We were taken by the company with regard to the furlough, even the companies negotiators know that. We will not be taken again and will not settle for the crumbs that fall from the table of their feast, which WE reaped! All we ask is our fair share of what WE provide for them.

  75. I think I speak for everyone in NY when I say we all take pride in our jobs and strive to please customers so they dont leave us for another carrier. We've been loyal and dedicated for many many years even though we keep getting the short end of the stick. We have alot of senority here which means our people have been with this company for years. There is great knowledge here and we all know how to do our jobs to please our customers and retain them. However, when you keep beating down the folks that have worked so hard for this company the moral is lost. A happy employee is a productive employee, every employer knows that. Years and years ago we were taught "smile when you're on the phone with your customer, they can hear it", well it's hard to smile these last few years! Our brothers and sisters ALL want the wages we deserve!

    ReplyDelete
  76. To All MY Organized Brothers and Sisters,

We all need to stay focused and really understand what these next couple of contract negotiations are going to be about. On the surface we all think its about medical, salaries, commissions or vacations. Deep down in the belly of the truth. IT IS NOT ! It is all about control and power. The company has put a plan in place to make sure they are in total control and want ALL their employees to be "AT WILL" employees. A member might ask how do you come to this conclusion?

    Lets take a look:

Money: If cutting our WAH reps pay was truly about cost, then why on Gods great earth is the company paying out3X maybe as high as 5X payouts for Take The Lead Sales that will not stay in the system, most of them Churn. But our reps get their dollar amount taken away if the customer does not stay with the company for 90 days. Why is the company paying Supervisors for TTL(take the lead), isnt that part of their job.

    Knowledge:

If knowledge was a factor, then Deland would of been cut loose a long, long time ago. In the organized world we are scrutinized and reprimanded if we blink our eye the wrong way. Why, its the companys way to discipline and get rid of the organized worker. In Deland they can screw up 10 orders a day and what do we hear from the company? Oh they dont understand they are learning. LEARNING, we got 6 months to learn our jobs or we were let go, its now 4 years and they are still messed up and on probation. The Grievanve Procedure is the biggest problem this company has with us. They want to hire, fire, promote and pay who they want and when they want. The company proved this in Tenn. when they fought very hard against a group trying to be organized. They won that battle with all their lies. The workers in Tenn drank the company's kool aid. Brothers and Sisters, IT IS TIME we need to stand up together and fight for our survival and the survival for our customers. If we do not stand up now we all will be on the outside and looking in. Enough is Enough, when we ask or give a suggestion we are told we are out of line, unreasonable and get a flat out NO. But When the company needs something we have to jump at and do it now, because its the "needs of the business". If we dont we are not partnering up and told DONT BE A SQUEAKY WHEEL.

    WHAT ABOUT OUR NEEDS ???????

    WHAT ABOUT OUR FAMILIES????????????

    WHAT ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS??????????

We all belong to churches, Little Leagues, Basketball programs, Rod and Gun Clubs, PTA's when it is time we will educate our friends and social groups the truth, how Frontier treats their employees. Maggie, you might have won the battle in Tenn. but watch out we have been stepped on too many times and been lied to by your supervisors and had enough. If all of us do not get a FAIR contract, then

    WE WILL WIN THE WAR

Dont Let them Divide US !!!

United We Stand, Divided We All will Fall!!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I am a tired overworked overstressed WAH Rep. And you know what? I AM DONE. I am done trusting this company. I am done listening to the lies. I do not want the free pens and mousepads. You can have the bags back too...better yet let me keep those. It'll save me buying garbage bags this week while I am trying to cut my grocery bill AGAIN due to my decreased wages. It's not fun saying 'no' to my family when they ask to have or do something that we always could and now can't afford. This is what Frontier is doing to us. Bobby C and Catherine pay attention. We are names and faces. We are families. We are the same people you used to see in the breakroom in the call center. Maybe its easier to hurt us now Catherine because you don't have to look us in the face. I hope you see our faces when you sleep at night...better yet I hope you lose sleep at night like we do worrying about what we are going to do. I am with the union.

  78. This was Posted in a comment section below and we felt it would be nice to copy and post it in this section also.

Wow, what a great blog, nice comments. We here in Sherburne love Our jobs & have a great Group that, for the most part, get along great. We appreciate Jim Currie's efforts to bring more jobs to Sherburne However, We're not blind. We see Corporate America (includes Frontier) getting fatter and fatter, Greedy, Arrogant, Evil. We, like all Americans across this Great Country, are totally fed up and intend to make Sweeping changes in Nov. How does this relate to Frontier You ask?? Well, let Me tell You. We, as Union Brothers and sisters, intend on standing up to Frontier Management. Here's an urgent message to all of Frontier Management- both Corporate and local (Yes, Sherburne Management, You're certainly not blameless- like My 4th Grade Reading Teacher said- "if You're not part of the solution, You're part of the PROBLEM). We'll stop at NOTHING to get a fair contract with Everything that We deserve. I do Know that, in the Small Community that I live in, the public will support the Worker over "Corporate America". And, If The Frontier Negotiation "team" doesn't improve Their offer, I, like MANY of Us have a NO VOTE WAITING. And, I'll be talking to the folks in My community- especially Town and Village Politicians, about how this Company treats It's workers, while crying poverty and getting insane Salary/Bonus/Perk increases, on the backs of the weary middle-class workers. The Country's mood Today is Anti-Goverment and Anti-Big Business. And Finally, to the Sherburne Workers that are anti-union and Pro-Company- remember, there are a L O N G trail of disposed Souls that Frontier Management has discarded like Yesterday's news. If You continue on Your Trail, I'd say You may one Day join that pile of Frontier refuse. Remember, Nobody's perfect. However, Your Union Brothers and Sisters are, at least, loyal and caring. You may feel like You've been let down by Your Union. However, how many General Membership Meetings have You attended to ask questions and demand answers?? If Anyone thinks that the Union can and should do better, then get off Your rear-ends and get involved!!! Action breeds change and it's way past time for Change at Frontier, in How They mistreat Their loyal, caring, stressed, overworked & underappreciated Employees!!

The company is banking on the union not doing any drastic because we're two months out from Christmas and the terrible weather time of year. We're tried to change the contract date to the spring months before and we need to do that again. The company is banking on us not being intelligent enough to think issues through. Technical Supervisor Job Requirements · Minimum 5 years telephone/access installation and repair experience(No) · 2-3 years DSL installation and repair experience(No) · Basic knowledge of FTTH and data networking(likely NO) · Must be able to perform complex hardware/software research(?) and (provide first level technical support(No)) · Advance knowledge of plant service center, central office and outside plant functions(?) · Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure and/or with deadlines · Must possess basic understanding of electronics, electrical circuitry, network installation, maintenance and testing(No) · Must be able to interact with internal/external customers and assist with problem resolution · Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills · Must possess basic PC skills: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. · Must take pride and ownership in work, and exhibit a willingness to learn. Education, certification and/or license requirements: · Must possess a valid state drivers license · Must have high school diploma or equivalent · Successful completion/certification in related technical fields or vendor equipment desired(likely No) Environmental Factors/Physical Requirements: · Must be available 24/7 to support off-shift technicians and emergency situations as needed · Must be able to work in inclement weather.

The above is the list of the minimum qualifications for someone to be considered for a technical supervisor position. The words in parenthesis are my strong feelings and or definite knowledge on whether my current "TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR" has these minimal required skills for the job. Currently it is my belief that over half of the skills are not in possession of my tech spvsr. So if for some reason our union has to threaten a Strike it should be taken as a real and serious threat by the company. It is my belief that most current managers would NOT be able to perform the functions that are critical to maintain the business due to their lack of telephony knowledge and abilities to perform the duties of those who they supervise. We as a union possess great power due to this fact. So to my fellow brothers and sisters, I say don't be afraid to vote down an unfair contract or take actions that may need to be taken to gain a fair contract. We have great power in our possession and we should not be afraid to use it if necessary!!

It is so easy to see how the company trieS to push us down in the groud. Why don't they act professional and give us a fair contract with wages? Other utility companies get far more than we receive. What is it about us that makes the company treat us so poorly. Mangement smiles and acts like they care to your face but stabs you in the back and works against you. Why is it so hard for the company to come to fair wages and working conditions and not fight us over everything? If it was not for the union, can you imagine where we would be with this company and how they would treat us then, not to mention our pay? Our union fights for us. We may not know all the gory details but we know that they have our backs and we need to stick together more than ever!

  88. Bargaining isn't supposed to be easy---it's negotiating. Pretend you had your owned your own business and you had to turn a profit. What it boils down to is being fair and ethical. This is a good company and a good union. Both have to work together for the betterment of the employees. I have been a Union Employee for over 14 years. Every Company is asking their employees for more while earning the same or less---it's the way the economy works and the way of the trends. It's not like we are asking for the moon. What we are asking for is FAIR. We have busted our butts for this Company to turn out nice results, even in the face of tough competition and a cruddy economy. But honestly, having a "Frontier Sucks" attitude will get no Union Brother or Sister anywhere. It's done TOGETHER, Company and Union. I will say that the Company has pushed so much for sales/revenue that the service to our customers is taking a second priority---that is wrong and not good. Loyal customers want good service. Frontier needs to refocus on this priority. It can't always be about driving sales & revenue. You have to take care of the customer on a personal level before you drive revenue. United We Stand, Divided We Fall. We need to be proactive and stand together for what is FAIR.

Maybe you should have thought about that over the past yrs when they and you as a disciple push push and push more for the same pay and no thank you. We've been screwed over since the F name took place. Were done and fighting tooth and nail this time. All you do is past the buck to your SEASONED reps or techs that do there job very well day and day out. This company should get a divorce from the "communication" that put in there name. You havent done that in yrs. We are sick and tired of the bs and you will see very shortly.

ps Hey CC supers : study up on the promotions and smile with your voice .. call volumes gonna be out of this world for you when you end up taking calls. And Tech Supers(thats a joke) hope you dont mind playing near live electrical lines, pouring rain, 2 feet of snow, horrible vehicles and irate customers in your face when you have to do the field work because the techs tell the company to stick it in there behinds.

Were done .. and up the rebel

  90. To Supervisor who is our friend - That would all make sense if we could just get back our furlough money BACK( which they gave to other employees ) AND a raise. Oh yes and we will have to figure out how to "UNSLAP" the NY peoples faces.

It was NOT US who lied and screwed them - it was the other way around.

We just want what is due to us this time with no bullshit about it. THIS time we are prepared for EVERYTHING.

We want to work with them - we really do - but THEY have to make the first move - the first olive branch - since they threw the LAST PUNCH.

To 4:32PM - Our company does NOT SUCK - WHAT THEY DID TO US DID SUCK. If I pushed you from behind and down on your ass last year would you be leary of me standing behind you AGAIN THIS YEAR? Bet you would.

They need to start realizing that WE DON"T SUCK EITHER.

This is easy to resolve. They need to fess up and talk about what happened last year, EXPLAIN IT AWAY and MAKE UP FOR IT.

NOT try to shove it up our ear again.

The ball is really in their court. They need to gain OUR trust again...they can do it with a PAY RAISE
Then we can ALL believe we work for a great company again.

DON'T FORGET, THEY STOLE THAT MONEY FROM US. If your kid stole something from a dollar store or any store you would march them in and make them make good on it.

    Start marchin Frontier

  91. If we all worked for the "new" Frontier in WV we would be not only $5,000 richer we also would never had the furlough money gone. It sure would have been handy to have when our premiums went up (again) and then and extension on the contract also equals no pay raise...but we did this all in good faith. Kind makes me sorry I ever complained about Contel and Mr Z. Hind sight really is 20/20.

...and before I forget... to my friends working on William St I have been told that a certain dept went unnoticed during Customer Appreciation Week. That's ok they were appreciated when it counted. At the rally on Thursday I think they were the only dept that had 50% of their active workforce in attendence. That is a BIG deal! I would like to see other depts try that one!

  93. to the supervisor that's our friend, go cry to maggie about it. we don't care YOU ARE NOT OUR FRIEND. You all lie cheat and steal to protect your jobs and reputations . while getting the credit for our hard underpaid efforts which recieve no credit, recognition or even a thank you, You are all good at one thing...passing the blame. Try some ethical managment . Treat those how you want to be treated . Think about those things when your on the unemployment line. and remember " nothing happens until someone sells somthing"

  94. It's been said that a common enemy unites. The problem with unity being through a common enemy is when the enemy is gone so is the unity. We need to be not united by fear or an enemy but by principles. If we do this then we will have an anchor when the storms come and a light when the fog of war comes by which to see clearly. So tell me, what principles unite us?

  95. A disgusted Norwich NY Frontier CustomerOctober 8, 2010 at 9:28 PM

Your Company talks a great game, but has very unreliable DSL. Your Techs are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. But, when I call Florida, I get the run-around and unbelievably poor Customer Service. I was given the Blog address by My personal Trainer at AIM fitness- Who was shocked by how Frontier treats It's NY Workforce. I'm paying hard-earned Money to a "local" company and They Cut a lot of Jobs up North a few Years ago?? Maybe I'd be better off giving My business to Time Warner. Those Employees are treated much better- have nice, clean Vans. Whoever runs Frontier needs to do a better job managing the business. I know several Frontier Employees and They have My total support. I may contact My local Politicians and maybe even the Evening Sun.

  96. Big Mouth....I agree......the company needs to fess up and make amends for their wrongs. The reps deserve a better base wage. They lost over three dollars per hour years ago!! They need to make up for these years...the company needs to show them respec

Since the company went from a customer service perspective to a marketing perspective, they have lost their minds!! We used to drop EVERYTHING when we got a PSC complaint. The world would stop spinning and we would get the answers and make the customer happy. Now, it is sell, sell, and sell some more!! We need to stop and take care of our customers.

We need to provide what we say we will...

We employees are loyal.....we love our jobs, we will make sales, we will respond to our customers needs. Please company trust us...we want to do a good job.

Bobby C we are here....we are waiting for a fair deal...you will not tire out the negotiating committee so they accept anything. Play fair!!

To our one loyal supervisor: We realize that you are doing your job...doing what you are told.....YOU ARE DRINKING THE KOOLAID!! We realize that we have to work together to get a contract.....now would you tell the company...or are you afraid for your job if you speak out?

We will stand together, we will stay united, we will fight!!

    DONT DRINK THE KOOLAID!!

  97. I would love the hear the supervisors take our calls. I recall we went code red a few times this year & last & I don't know of one call center sup who was on the phone. Maybe, If the supervisors stopped planning their lunches at 8:00am & invested that time in to listening to the calls we deal with, it would become obvious why PFP plans do NOT work in our industry.

  98. Local Management stays out of the spotlight- They won't speak out on our behalf. The don't want anymore negative attention drawn to them. They know- they shouldn't be here. When consolidation went through - Catherine & Jim failed the WAH teams - They saved supervisors who lacked passion & drive to keep the WAH reps going and let go the 2 supervisors that were worth saving. Catherine won't let someone capable of doing a Great Job work for her as she doesn't like competition. Catherine also fails the WAH team in NY so she can build & get headcount elsewhere. The more territories she fills- The higher her budget.

  99. I am a Frontier customer that was given this blog. How dare Frontier treat the NY employees this way. We all knew that the company was going down hill when the Gloversville center closed. I was proven over and over with every call made to Frontier that ended up being answered in Florida. The way they treat customers is awful. If Frontier continues with the horrible customer service, they will have no customers. The management of Frontier needs to wake up. The service they are providing is substandard and the only reason many customers stayed with Frontier was because of the wonderful customer service we use to get. If I called in for any reason, it was addressed and taken care of with one call. I have had to call repeatedly for simple promblems with my bills. The only way I got any help was to ask for a rep in NY. They are the ones that care about the customers. Frontier management better make sure they keep these loyal employees. If they lose anymore NY employees, they will also lose more NY customers.

  100. When the Gloversville-Johnstown call centers were open- HA! TRY to get a supervisor on the line when a customer requested one. Lots of luck. They took their big paychecks and perks but wouldn't dare do the hard work-dealing with the actual customer that pays ALL of our paychecks. Then we'd get yapped at when we were on calls too long. Typical middle management mentality.

No one ever went to bat for us but each other. So again we need to be united!

  101. Bargaining isn't supposed to be easy, it's supposed to be FAIR and done in GOOD FAITH!!October 9, 2010 at 8:43 AM

To the Post above that began with "Bargaining isn't supposed to be easy---it's negotiating". First of all, are You a Management Employee?? It sure sounds like You might be?? Or, are You one of those Union Employees Who are "Cozying up to the Boss". If You are, Remember, They'll use You, Step on You to further Their own Causes and SMILE AT YOU WHILE THEY'RE DOING it. Secondly, If I owned My Own business and was trying to turn a profit, the LAST THING I'd do is GIVE MYSELF AN EXCESSIVE PAY RAISE on top of an already EXCESSIVE SALARY (Maggie, this means YOU). As the Friend of a Small Business Owner, the PROPER thing to do is REWARD YOUR EMPLOYEES FIRST. That pays BIG DIVIDENDS!! I know that Maggie is the CEO. However, in tough economic times, a REAL LEADER actually shows Leadership and TAKES THE COMPENSATION LUMPS FIRST. I know Maggie, during the Furlough Period, broadcasted that She gave up SOME Compensation- if My memory serves Me correctly, She gave up Her Bonus?? However, what about the 25% Salary Raise She got?? And, most folks may not recall that the Furlough was instituted, based on EXPECTED REVENUE LOSSES. This, despite the Company's Financial Statements being SOLID (The Company's words, not Mine) for the last several Years. Well, Those Revenue losses NEVER MATERIALIZED. What a Surprise!! I don't think that MOST Union Employees think that Frontier Sucks. However, We do feel that the way that NY EMPLOYEES are being treated DOES SUCK. Especially compared to the way the Company treats FLORIDA AND BURNSVILLE MN Employees. It shows in Our Interactions with Them. Deland may screw up virtually EVERY SINGLE ORDER THEY PLACE. However, They appear to be pleased with Frontier- as does Burnsville Employees. Thirdly, You mention Bargaining/Negotiating is done TOGETHER, Company and Union. However, You left out "IN GOOD FAITH". That's what's missing from Bobby C, Who is merely taking orders from the Chairwoman. GOOD FAITH means bargaining HONESTLY AND ETHICALLY- no threats of job losses, no "hard assing" Union Employees at Bargaining time. These are two Qualities that are sorely missing in this Company's Management "Team". Lastly, I'm going to end this Post with a Very Important AND TRUE STATEMENT: Any Company's Management merely "Manages" the Money that the EMPLOYEES IN THE TRENCHES bring in to the Company's Coffers (Yes, I'm referring to HIGHLY CAPABLE UNION EMPLOYEES, Professionally interacting with Our Customers every day, despite being harassed by front-line Supervisors). We all know that if there were no External Customers paying for Our Products/Services, None of Us would have Jobs AND MANAGEMENT WOULD HAVE NO MONEY TO "MANAGE". Come on Frontier Negotiating Team, Play Fair for once!! We (Union Employees) want to drive this Company to the Top and BURY THE CABLE COMPANIES!! Do the Right Thing!!

  102. I am a WaHNY rep and I want to say one thing about taking care of the customers...and what the company expects of us now....It use to be all about customer service and sales second...now we all know its all about the all mighty sale...I for one take care of my customers with excellent customer service. If I have a customer that I feel I can sell something to I try to do that...but honestly the calls us NY reps are getting latley are ones that need to be saved. They are customers that have been talked to badly by Florida oh I mean DAHLAND reps....or just very angry customers over all ....that hate fRONTIER. So let just say most of the time I spend with my customers is trying to get them to stay with FRONTIER and ...10out of 1 I talkthem into staying because of my good customer service skills.....now that I feel is a SALE....maybe not in my supervisors book or Catherines but it is in mine so If they want to take my job from me then be it...because I am fed up and hate my job the way it is........if we dont get a raise and fair contract this time I nyrep will be looking for another job....that does appreciate my great customer service skills........ONE ANGRY NYWAHREP

  103. I agree with one VERY ANGRY WAH rep. I too am equally angry. The PFP incentive only encourages us to not do what's right for the customer. As seasoned agents though; we have already been programmed to DO what's right for the customer so to 360 us into sales robots at this point isn't going to work. Isn't it the companies phrase " It's more expensive to install a new customer than it is to retain an existing". Then pull PFP, let us do our jobs for the customer - NOT for the company.

  104. Members of Local 363 are at a crossroad in barganing with Frontier, our very existance and way of life is at stake.
Frontier is attacking our benefits, wages and working conditions in all areas by the proposals they are demanding of Local 363 and Local 543 in Nevada.
We must stand together or we will be all brought down to the level of basic existance, with no future or hope of ever being able to do anything more than to survive.
