  2. Ok, we all need to stick together and not be afraid!!! There are those who will try to scare you!! What needs to be remembered is that the company cannot do without us. Contractors do crappy work, outside techs have to follow the contractors all the time when they are brought in. Door to door contractors made a mess that WAH and other reps had to fix. Frontier made many promises to many psc's in many states. They are in a tough spot and will try to set the trend with us for their negotiations in the new territories. WE need to stay strong!!! I don't think a strike would last two weeks let alone a couple of days. A little bit of pay lost for a decent raise, low medical contribution, etc... would be well worth the effort!!! This company expects hourly employees to work for "FREE" on our spare time with their "community engagement" model. This is a WIN WIN for them, they buy customer loyalty with a small donation and YOUR UNPAID time, then they get a TAX WRITE OFF for the donation, followed by increased revenue for any sales generated!!! What do they give the employee in return?? Higher costing benefits, less vacation/holiday time, PFP, more work for less pay, and a lower standard of living!! ALL SO THE FAT CATS ON WALL STREET can get FATTER!!! Over 90% of our nations CASH and STOCKS are in the hands of less than 10% of our population!!! Those on top like MAGGIE are part of that group!!! We NEED TO STAND TOGETHER!!! They see us as merely another RESOURCE to be USED UP and EXPLOITED for their personal GAINS!!!! They live the "AMERICAN DREAM" that they all encourage us to chase in order to fill their pockets all while keeping the proverbial "carat on a stick" just out of reach!!! STICK TO THE UNION!! STICK TOGETHER!! SAY NO TO THE KOOL AID!!!!

  3. My Brothers and Sister
    Stop with all the negativity, stand for what you believe in and fight for your right. Enough is Enough, what are you turning the other way, you know we are being treated wrong. Remember only those brothers and sisters who are present at these meetings will stand United. 100% participation should be at these meetings and no excuses.

    We all have bills to pay, children to fee, stop making excuses that you just cant. Nonsense, yes we can and United we need to be.

    Remember, if you dont ask you will never know.

    Tired of nonsense and excuses people make. It takes 100% support of union workers to push and help our negotiators fight for what we deserve.

    Enough with the Talking, show the actions now!

  4. We all need to show the company that we mean business! Make sure that we all get out to the upcoming meetings and listen and make the right vote! Call Bobby C's bluff!!! These idiots bought Frontier's landlines while Bell Atlantic bought Frontier's Cellular product(Our leaders thought that cellular would never make any money)! What happens? Bell Atlantic changes their name to Verizon and makes money hand over fist. Us, we take the Frontier name and our stock steadily fall's to below $9.00. Now we struggle to gain revenue through purchasing the landlines that Verizon cannot wait to unload so that we can suck up subsidies to survive and make those on Wall Street Richer at the expense of the "taxpayer". This having been said, I would not worry too much about Bobby C's contingency plan!! Those fools couldn't plan a picnic!!! No MORE KOOL AID!! Come out and VOTE!!! No FEAR in NUMBERS, Let's show them we are SERIOUS!!!

  5. loyalty??? I've given 25 years ...where is the companys loyalty to me.

    lower wages promotes less than quality customer service.I'm a seasoned rep and held to the highest standards.Excellent customer service maintains customers...end result revenue

    Ceo's are making 7 digit salarys, 6 digit bonus'.Can I get a piece of the pie instead of a crumb.

    Members, we need your support keep it coming.....

    ReplyDelete
  6. Why is this being done, and we are train to work as a team. Yet we opt out for the last 6 years without an increase and we settled for less pay and the offer furlough and still not be recognized. This is not acceptable especially when wv was given a bonus and we did not get anything. Yet my office in middletown continue to do an exceptional job as well as working to sales products and offer pymt extension to help those in need. Yes we do!find solution and answer many calls from reps in other dept and cities seeking answers. We been working to make our job important and secure and we have been getting slap with negoiation coming to the table not supporting us. We have and eyes and ears open and most of what we here is the company is doing good. What is that to see for the employees working for this company.

    ReplyDelete
  7. i hope this scares the company good. Im so sick and tired of being stressed out over bills and whether or not we are gonna have jobs!!! No excuses everyone! Please attend your meetings

    ReplyDelete
  8. Stand firm and be encourage, do not settle for less.

    ReplyDelete
  9. if a member can not make it to an upcoming meeting then, they better never bitch about the out come!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. >A "YES" strike vote will give the Union bargaining committee more 'power' at the bargaining table.
    >We are NOT working without a contract. The current contract has been extended until 11:59pm on Nov. 5, 2010.
    >We do not want to take a lump sum raise or a small % wage increase that is eaten away by an increase in our portion of the medical premiums!!!

    >Think about this. Does anybody work in a department where your supervisor could actually sit down and do you job? Or get in your company vehicle & go out to do your job?
    Do they actually know your job well enough to even direct other NON-UNION workers to do your job?
    I wonder what would happen to TAKE THE LEADS if we were to go out on strike????? How many do you think they would be making??

    >Go on the LINK an read Maggie's recent article--blah,blah,blah--It says something about the employees being the "foundation" of the company.
    Well-the way I see it, the employees here in NY are the "cinder blocks" of that foundation.

    GO TO THE MEETINGS THIS WEEK AND BE INFORMED..CAST YOUR VOTE..GIVE YOUR SUPPORT..LETS STICK TOGETHER BROTHERS AND SISTERS..DO NOT DRINK THE KOOL-AID..IT COULD BE POISONED?????

    UNITED WE STAND OR TOGETHER WE WILL FALL

    ReplyDelete
  11. Education is POWER!!! get to the meetings and listen and learn- ask question, listen to the answers. Be a TEAM and get into the fight with the rest of the membership. Corporates philosophy is divide and conquer. They will lie and use scare tactics. We can NOT fall for it again.

    GET TO THE MEETINGS THIS WEEK AND LISTEN, LEARN AND ACT.

    ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  12. The company's contigency plan is that they won't need one. They would be completely lost if they had to actually put one in place. Everyone, including management, knows they can't do our jobs. They are betting we won't call their bluff. Now is the time to stand strong. Regardless of unit or department.

    WE ARE ONE.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Stand strong w ur head high and Vote Yes to a strike !!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi, The Enforcer is Back!! Folks, Please read the Post above, 10-25-10, at 5:57pm. If You've already done that, then read it again- in fact, read it 5-6 times. It's what's wrong with Corporate America Today. It's why the Middle Class is SHRINKING. People like Maggie have One primary aim- to eliminate the Middle Class. "They" want TWO CLASSES: the Super, Ultra Rich and Everyone Else, Poverty, "Useless Eaters". Don't buy into the argument "They have a business to run". If You knew the truth, They are Running the Business, right INTO THE GROUND.

    ReplyDelete
  15. You need to think of the effects of this contract long term! Come & VOTE YES!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Disappointed in some of youOctober 25, 2010 at 9:32 PM

    I'm tired of the few members that feel they have a valid excuse for not going to the meetings or that they are a waste of their time. Screw you! You don't even deserve a raise. You know who you are and shame on you!

    ReplyDelete
  17. everyone needs to CALM DOWN.... just because there's a strike vote, doesn't mean that it's set that we are.. we haven't even voted on a contract proposal yet. noone wants it to come to a strike, but it is a necessary evil that we must entertain to make our future well being as beneficial as possible. we don't need to enhance the paranoia that we'll lose everything we have if a strike becomes eminent.. for the last 6 or so contracts, there was only one other time that a strike was even contemplated. we will prevail as long as we don't lose our cool and start losing faith in our bargaining team. there is no way that management can cover the workload that the people under them perform. with the average of 10-15 employees/ management person, it would be numerically impossible.. let them say they have a plan if we strike, i say bullshit let's see them prove it. scare tactics are what you get when they don't think anything else will work. just keep a sound mind and everything will work for the better in the long run..

    ReplyDelete
  18. To the few company "K-A's" out there: if the company thinks as highly of you as you believe, ask yourself why they're not coming forward with a decent contract.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Keep the posts coming and keep up the strong display of unity. We are one and we will act as one solid workforce of organized workers.

    Brothers and sisters, please do not listen to managements scare tactics or even managements attempts to instill fear into our new brothers and sisters.

    At your meeting I will explain everything and the importance of this strike vote. After the meeting is completed I can guarantee that everyone will see that the company is totally taken advantage of you and is forcing this position that needs to be taken.

    As the company always tells us it's the needs of the business. My brothers and sisters it is the needs of the members that we need to protect and worry about. Stand strong and united!

    If they try to scare you from now to our meeting,

    Just tell them you can't scare me I'm stickin to the union

  21. Strike strike strike!! For all those who don't attend the meetings!!! No excuse and no bitching allowed!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I have to agree w/most of what has already been said. Please listen to your senior union members! We are NOT new at this and we are NOT afraid! One thing that everyone needs to remember is, "Management is NOT your FRIEND!!" PLEASE, PLEASE attend YOUR meeting in and be informed. The company is not going to fill you in on what's going on but YOUR Union will. Come to the meeting and get the information you need first hand.

    Once again, I want to thank our negotiating team for their hard work and dedication. Now we need to listen and trust them.

    Don't drink the Kool-Aide!

    UNITED WE STAND!

    HARRIMAN — Rep. John Hall, D-Dover Plains, will get a campaign push from former President Bill Clinton in the final days of Hall's tight re-election race against Republican challenger Nan Hayworth.

    Clinton, who has been stumping for Democrats around the country, is scheduled to appear Saturday night at a Hall campaign rally at the IBEW Local 363 training hall in Harriman.

    Clinton has also campaigned with Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-Hurley, and headlined a Hall fundraiser.

  28. Sticking to the Union in Sherburne NYOctober 26, 2010 at 7:52 AM

    Attention Frontier Management: Read My Title, Understand?? You're fighting a Losing Battle. The slumbering Giant has awoken. There's no turning back. If You really value Your Customers (and Your Craft Employees are Your MOST IMPORTANT CUSTOMERS), then do the right thing. As Maggie would say, "Do it right the FIRST TIME. Stop haggling over Peanuts. I have to laugh at one of the first Statements that Maggie Made upon joining Frontier. In response to a question about running a Company with the Majority of It's Employees belonging to Labor Unions. Maggie said "I'm committed to working with the Unions". Fast forward approximately 3-4 Years. Was Maggie telling the truth?? Only Her "maker" can answer that. C'Mon Maggie, Cecilia, Bobby C, and the rest of Frontier's Negotiating Team!! Believe It or not, a vast majority of Your Union Employees are committed to bolstering this Company to the TOP, running over all of the Competitors!! However, We have had ENOUGH!! Enough of all of the lies, spin, harassment, disrespect & abuse!! Believe it or not, We DO UNDERSTAND that Every Business has challenges in Today's times. However, with My background AND EXTENSIVE EDUCATION in Business/Finance/Marketing/Law, I see Frontier as among the Healthiest (strictly financially speaking) Companies across the U.S. Yes, We're VERY WEAK in properly promoting/marketing AND TEST MARKETING New Products. Remember "Frontier One", later renamed "Frontier Call Manager"?? How about the "Smart Phone"?? Good ideas, Good concept. However, VERY UNREFINED and POORLY TEST MARKETED and released MUCH TOO SOON. Your Craft Employees have excellent ideas and make the effort to share Them with You. However, We are laughed at, devalued and even disciplined if We speak up!! Well, all I can say is- quoting the Bible, "Whatsoever a Man shall sow, He shall also reap". Pretty Sobering, Huh?? Lastly, I'M STICKING WITH THE UNION!! I FULLY, 100% SUPPORT OUR BARGAINING TEAM. I DO NOT believe a single word that comes out of a "non-union" Frontier Employee, no matter Who it is. Not just during Bargaining, but ALL OF THE TIME.

  29. Frontier executives are taking very, very good care of themselves!

    While management tries to squeeze workers’ pay rates and cries poor in contract negotiations, top executives at Frontier are not making any financial sacrifices.

    As you can see below, Frontier’s top five officers gave themselves $10.4 million in total compensation including $2.4 million in their base salaries and more than $8 million in bonuses and stock awards.

    ...and WE have to pay more for our HEALTH PLAN???....and get offered a crap raise?????

  30. We all know the supposed open door policy is a joke along with everything else this company tells us. We need to get it in binding contractual writing what we want. NY is a toilet to the CEO and she's been taking a crap on us for too many years. Time to stop it and get a fair contract and NEVER believe a word they say again regarding finances, etc. They swill their martinis and laugh at us. Those union members still not sure- sh*t or get off the pot. Quit your whining and get your butts to the meetings.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The White House has been contacted again about the integrity of the CEO of this company.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Perspective, Maggie get paid bi-monthly assuming that she is paid like the rest of management. That means that each of her paychecks before taxes are: $79,167! Yet they cannot afford to take care of our health insurance or give us a descent increase!! People who make these salaries are so out of touch with the population it is ridiculous!!! She has no true idea of our needs or how we live!!! VOTE NO TO POOR CONTRACTS!!! NO KOOL AID!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am a senior rep...been here through many many contract negotiations. I am also the primary income for my family...mortgage and car payments up to my eyeballs and kids to feed. AND I AM NOT AFRAID....Why? Because I know if we don't take a stand now it will just get worse. Trust me when I say this company won't make it much longer than a day without us. Remember the negotiating team is negotiating for many depts...WAH,Techs,NOC,Directory,Assignment (sorry for whoever else I may have missed). We don't want a strike...and there are many more steps before we would go there. But if thats what it takes thats where I will be. To less senior employees if you have questions...or feel a little nervous...lean on us..the more senior members. You know who we are...AND WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. Stand with us and we will all succeed together! I AM NOT SCARED AND I AM STICKING WITH THE UNION...NOT DRINKING THE KOOL AID...GO 363!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Cecilia,

    Keep having your supervisors in all reas trying to scare the people about strikes and you will be surprised like you never have been before. take your 1 million and go back to COKE. You know nothing about telephone but being a bully and a screamer in your building in stamford. ask your employees there how they complain

    ReplyDelete
  35. The company can't afford to have more than 2 people off on vacation at a time. How do you think they'll do with 700 off at once ! Think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Looking forward to the meeting Thursday to get some more details and cast my vote in SUPPORT OF THE UNION! We are in the position of power, not the company. They NEED US. How long would any of us, or our customers, wait for service before leaving for a competitor? Our competitors are quick to snatch up disgruntled customers with promises they can't live up to. Line loss, churn? Push us to a strike and management's heads will spin at how fast the customers who were loyal to us, the workers of Frontier, leave for the competition!

    Support out Team!

  38. Here's a link to a printer friendly version of "The Frontier Communications Worker" newsletter that was mentioned earlier.

    http://files.cwa-union.org/teletech/Frontier_Communications_Workers_news_Oct_2010.pdf

    There's valuable information here. Besides the list of lavish salaries that the corporate officers enjoy, there's also a "Frontier Bargaining Calendar". Notice how there's a whole slew of contracts to be negotiated coming up. Missing from the list is IBEW 543 in Nevada (bargaining underway), 1106 in Michigan (coming up November 1) and IBEW 503 Monroe,New York coming up in January (with CWA 1170 Rochester right in the middle).
    Should these not go smoothly they could backlog, snowball and perhaps blossom into a real national event.

    Solidarity!!

    Wonder how this will play out across the nation during these times?

  40. It amazes me that SLT (at least the 5 listed above) make so much money. Cecelia alone gets paid enough for just under 10 WAH reps (at top pay, which we no longer see) I sure hope she can handle 6 calls per hour. Brush up on those collection skills those calls are up this week. You'll have no problem putting in repair tickets, thats very easy. Wonder why new brick & mortar reps are not trained on those first? Must be because then they wouldn't have crap calls to feed us. Don't forget that Internet Help Desk overflow queue, let's have the cust ride the New Frontier Merry Go Round, at least the GOS numbers will look good for all queues.

    I wonder how much we paid the person to proofread the custom value flyers shipped to 1400 customers referring them to an Adult Chat line? Glad they weren't on the phones misquoting (or just plane lieing to get a sales) prices as so many of our brick and mortar non unionized workers (yes Deland I mean you). Oh well,you get what you pay for!

    And the new promo, that's not really a promo, but a close tool. C'mon EVERYONE knows it will be used as an upfront offer! Training felt like a class on DECEPTION!

    Welcome to the New Frontier!

  45. WOW !!!

    What a meeting last night at the Ho Jo's !! I first want to thank Gil, Tom, Jeff and CJ. The presentation was excellent and information provided was priceless.

    To my fellow union members, way to go, I knew when the word came out about the meeting we would have a good turnout in our area, but I did not figure on more than 150 would show up. The questions everyone asked was very helpful.

    Who ever thought we would have to stand on a line for just about an hour to cast a strike vote.

    Hopefully the other two areas come out in numbers like we did and produce the same way.

    To the company officials who are reading this blog, it is not that we do not appreciate the company, its that the company has not appreciated us or the customer in a long time. If you have you would show it in this contract and secondly you would start holding Deland accountable. If we did 10% of the mistakes Deland make we all would be fired. So Maggie, we do not believe you are hearing the truth from cecilia or any other supervisor

    Put cecilia on a performance plan. she sure the hell needs it.

    in closing LETS GO 363 !!!!!!

    Lets all stay united !!

  47. Fed up with CORPORATE AMERICAOctober 27, 2010 at 9:51 AM

    Corporate GREED at its finest at FRONTIER!!! It is bad enough that our competition for broadband is gearing up to offer speeds that are 10x's what we can provide. That in turn is gonna allow websites to add more content which translates to speed issues for DSL at FRONTIER. So does Maggie, Cecilia, or the other top executives get to deal with the slow speed complaints? No!! Heck I bet NONE of them even reside in a FRONTIER SERVICED locality!! Who gets to deal with the upset customers?? It is the UNION MEMBERS!! We are the ones that have to appease the customers and try to save the revenue so that those on top can enjoy their "HIGH CLASS" lifestyle!! So it is the UNION members who deserve a fair contract!! It is the UNION members who SPEND their MONEY locally!!! COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, just another corporate RUSE to fool the customers! NO MORE KOOL AID!!! Treat us fairly and make us feel valued beyond the propaganda that is spewed regularly in meetings and on the LINK. Corporate America is no longer dealing with poorly educated employees. Thanks to the internet, the masses can now communicate like never before and we will STAND TOGETHER and support our fellow UNION brothers and sisters!!! The MAJORITY in AMERICA will prevail!! We have had enough!!!

  54. One hand washes the otherOctober 27, 2010 at 3:45 PM

    I am a long time customer of Frontier/Citizens/GTE. My business communications and Internet are soley thru Frontier, as well as my home. I am horribly disapointed with Frontier's decision to hire Dor-Mar roofing from Rome Ny to replace the roof on there William street building in Johnstown NY. Where is the loyalty? In todays comptetitive market Frontier chooses to hire a company from Rome? What about the locals? Rome has Verizon for phone service. This makes me sick. I am not pissed because I did not get the contract, but you can't tell me that it could not have been done locally?? Shame on you. It is most definatley the time for me to start thinking out side Frontier. Thanks for nothing .

    ReplyDelete
  55. Members lets get a petition started so we can get medical insurance through the union....and tell the company to stick their insurance. We are all done giving them a kick back by enrolling in their insurance that they don;t shop around for

    ReplyDelete
  56. Being that we dont have a contract, people in the union shouldnt be volunteering at any community functions sponsored by the company.....dont sign up for anything

    ReplyDelete
  57. Now that we have former Verizons locals that will be paying 0% on their medical next year--All locals should be paying 0%!!!!!!!!!!!!--Let the lowest common denominator prevail!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Sorry to hear your story, one hand washed the other. it's getting out there to the world that frontier does not practice what it shoves down its employees' throat. Loyal employees that do a good job but management just wants to keep picking out pockets. Frontier management is just as bad as the banks that got b ailed out with our tax money. We got shafted twice last year!

    ReplyDelete
  59. We now are aware that the Company didn't need our furlough money. They lied to us, then they gave it as a gift to scabs(their loyal friends). We should demand that they return the money to us!

    ReplyDelete
  60. We should discuss with our new union brothers and sisters the idea of a nationwide strike! Its about time that this compamy understand how we feel about the way it treats its workers

    ReplyDelete
  61. To One hand washer the other: I agree, we couldn't understand that decision either! They always want us to be involved in our community, but ONLY if it benefits THEM. They should be hiring local companies with in our serving area to do services on our buildings. They've got some other company in Syracuse (again out of our territory) that does something else for our buildings but I cant remember what service it is. You're right, way to show loyalty huh? And I'm sure it's not just the Johnstown area that they do this to either. It's amazing they'll sacrafice quality work that could be done from our own local customers just to save a buck!!

  62. The Syracuse company does our building HVAC services. A parking lot needed repair, the local company that plows our lot and uses our services also does paving and was more than capeable of the repair. Of course, the job went to an out of area (but at least a Frontier area) contractor, from 2 hours away! You can't convince me they saved anything in a move like that! Local engagement is just a catch phrase for management to throw around in PR circumstances, and to try to get us to advertise for them for free.
    Don't drink the Kool Aid!

  63. Are you kidding me!?!?!... They freaking posted Deland WAH positions today! They can't even do their job right IN the office where they have help and support and now you expect them to be competent enough to work at home?!?! Like the freaking messes we have now because of them aren't enough! Just get rid of that damn Deland office as well as their incompetent reps and bring the jobs back to NY where they should have stayed all along. We whouldn't have the messes we have nor would we have misinformed, unsatisfied, & pissed off customers!

    OH and a new VP! Seriously, like we don't already have enough of those. Glad to see Frontier can afford to pay other VP salary but can't afford to pay their front line folks a decent wage. By all means those front line folks are the face of Frontier. They are the ones who speak directly to the customer that you're trying so hard to retain. Lets not forget about our installers who actually have to see the customer FACE TO FACE. You can't give them a decent wage, one that's not eaten up by their medical premiums, but you can afford another VP that we dont need - GIVE ME AN EFFING BREAK! I've been with this company since we were known as Contel and I've never seen so many VP's in one company in my career here. Too many chiefs and not enough indians!

    I'm completely & thoroughly disgusted with this company and I'm ready to throw away 20+yrs of service just to be at peace and not have to deal with the BS anymore. I would love to be able to sleep restful at night and not have to take the stomach medication that I take because this company stresses me out so badly. It's pretty sad they can stress their employees out so much.

    Stand UNITED Local 363, we're the building block on what comes next for the other locals. FIGHT for your rights and for what WE deserve.

  64. To the Anonymous Post on 10-26-10 at 9:27am. WAY TO GO!!! A Brother/Sister thinking along My wavelength, contacting the White House. After the Nov 2nd Elections, I'll be sending some more of My Long, Detailed e-mails to U.S. Congress reps and Senators. Maybe even Our NYS Politicians. Oh, what about the New NY Governor?? If Andrew Cuomo wins (as projected), I'm sure He'd like to look into allegations made elsewhere on this Blog that Frontier illegally used It's Employee's 401k Retirement Accounts as Collateral for Loans to fund Early Retirement Buyouts and Stock Buybacks 2-3 Years ago. Does anyone Remember ENRON?? Do You recall how Many loyal Enron Employees lost all of Their "nest eggs" due to Company corruption?? If Arcuri is re-elected, He'd be interested to know how Frontier treats It's dedicated, Craft Employees and It's external Customers. I recall reading on the "Propaganda" Company Intranet site- "the Link" that Arcuri visited the folks Up in Sherburne a Year or Two ago. Shipping Hundreds of jobs to Florida, all in the name of the almighty BUCK!! Listen up Frontier Managers, the longer You waste Our Bargaining Team's time, the worse the Public's view of Frontier will get- because make no mistake about it, the public is aware of what's going on and they're upset. NY Customers look after "their Own". They want Their NEW YORK UNION WORKERS to be treated and compensated FAIRLY. If You do the right thing & take care of Your dedicated NY Employees, Your NY Customers will likely stay with Frontier. However, continue bleeding Us dry- Our Competitors are salivating. The Ball is in Your court. MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION.

  65. Another VP. I almost pissed myself!

    Dont get me wrong! I LOVE MY JOB!

    But being treated as a cast off, that I dont like. To be treated fairly, as OUR values state, why does that not apply to NY? I often wonder how the folks in AZ and TN feel?

    I have heard that one rep mentioned the word union and was terminated. That's a sign.

    Is that the goal? Sacrafice GOS for payroll purposes? When I get a call from a Florida rep asking me to fix an account? Dialed into the res queue to get another rep to correct a promo issue? Where's training? Where's coaching?

    I bet the reason case management took so long to roll to WAH, almost last, was done on purpose as management knows that we will use it properly and the code blues are going to be out of this world. Which will show them that NY (and AZ) know what they are doing, and Frontier should bend over backwards to retain a SUPERIOR workforce.

  75. Face it folks- Maggie is a Union buster and she's not going to stop until she gets all the unions out of this company. She hates unions and she hates ours the worse. I've been casting votes against her as CEO since she started at Frontier. It's the stock holders that need to know what she's doing.

    She doesn't care about the customers or else she'd do something about Deland. She's a liar through and through-talks out of one side of her face to customers and then treats her employees like dogs and barks out the other side. The only way to make a point is to strike and let them try to handle what needs to be done. They'll pay the PSC out the butt for GOS issues. Unfortunately she doesn't care how much she pays in penalties- she wants the unions OUT.

    Time to order signs, buy up some thermals and get ready to do some walking. I'll be the first one in front of her McMansion in Stamford- yes the one that ISN'T in Frontier territory.

    Maggie,

    Do you really want to know why aloty of people in NY are upset??

    We have been constantly lied to by Catherine decuyke and Joyce Robbins.

    They keep telling us work will come our way, stay committed and it will come our way. Guess what since you closed our center in 2006 we have not seen any new jobs here in Johnstown.

    Yes you have in Norwich/Sherburne and Middletown, but here in Johnstown where we had see alot of friends leave we received nothing.

    We can not take the false promises(lies) from Catherine and Joyce any more. They are big factors that started this ball rolling.

    We believe now if their lips are moving dont listen because its not true.

    We ask you to step in and give us a true HR person that will work with the employee know matter who you are and not who you know and give us a leader that we can look up to and respect that will handle the WAH group.

    Its like the old saying sometimes be careful what you wish for.

    When Kate Northrup first came she was evil we thought, but after we gave her time she made things happen and we could trust and respect her words. Her words you could of taking to the bank.

    WHERES KATE ???????????????

    Do we ask our negotiators to make that a proposal at the table fire Robbins and decuyke and will give you the day after thanksgiving?

  79. Good Morning !!

    Well we are 2 for 2 !! Two meetings in a row and both meetings were standing room only.

    Johnstown are you ready ??

    The bus is coming your way today and its your turn to rock the house as a member stated earlier.

    Lets make it 3 fo 3 !

    Middletown and Norwich I thank you for your great turnout and display of solidarity. The questions and comments in both areas were great and we all decided we are walking as one.

    To the Bi Lingual group, stay strong. Together we will straighten out the chaos in your group. We will meet jointly with the company and express our concerns.

    KEEP THE FAITH and KEEP THE CAUSE ALIVE !!

    The Question of the Day !!!

    What Local will be joining us at the bargaining table next week??

    How far do they have to travel ????

    Bargaining Update:

    IBEW 543 Nevada - Went back to the table Monday

    IBEW West Virginia votes down their contract

  95. Good turn out!! The over 7500 union membership will stick together Nationwide!! It would be impossible for the company to handle such a situation!! Let's get a union insurance plan and take away the interest that the company makes while holding our money between payments to the insurance carries! We can cut off that revenue stream and take away some of their leverage over us!! As a matter of fact we should all also adjust our income tax deductions to just cover what we need to pay and reduce that revenue stream as the company pays it in quarterly and collects interest the rest of the time. No MORE KOOL AID, we want a FAIR CONTRACT!!

  97. Wide awake in Sherburne NYOctober 29, 2010 at 8:14 AM

    VERY IMPRESSIVE!! Large turnouts in all Three Units: Sherburne, Middletown and Johnstown!! A Unified 363 and a well-prepared Bargaining Team. It looks like We're all prepared for a long, tough fight. That's important because the Company is NOT PREPARED. This is evidenced by the nervousness and anxiety being displayed by the Sherburne Management Team. I'm seeing this every day. It's taking It's toll on Department Managers and Front-line Supervisors. It's actually quite comical to watch it. The one thing that Local Management needs to realize is that Craft Employees are not only unified for Bargaining purposes. The "day to day" operations of the Sherburne Center will change forever. No longer will past behavior of Local Management be acceptable. It will not. And, Local Management MISBEHAVIOR will be addressed STRONGLY. We're all going to hold Management to a MUCH HIGHER STANDARD than previously. Accept it and heed Our warning. To all of My Brothers and Sisters, KUDOS for standing up to this Company. It's about time and KEEP STANDING. Think "Big Picture". And, above all, think "outside the box". Great Job to Our Bargaining Team for being WELL PREPARED and keeping the Membership WELL INFORMED AND MOTIVATED. I'll do My part in the Sherburne Building. To Frontier's "Senior Leadership", The Public is heavily involved in This Process. And, Our Investors are beginning to watch with interest AND CONCERN. This will determine the DIRECTION OUR STOCK PRICE TAKES. Will It be Up?? How about Down?? Will the Investors organize a campaign to VOTE OUT MAGGIE AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?? It doesn't look very good for Management, does it??

    ReplyDelete
  98. Great rally last night, fantastic turn out! Looking forward to the vote results and how the barganing procedes from this point forward! We are ready, no more Kool Aid! A fair contract with decent wages and benefits is not too much to ask. Frontier, it's time to live up to your own values!

  99. Last night sealed the deal. Management either needs to give us a fair contract or they will spend their holidays ATTEMPTING to do jobs they have never done. Maggie might break a nail!!! Oh no!!!

    Seriously-the numbers discussed were sobering. Once again management is proving themselves to be efficient thieves. Enough is enough-this has been going on for too many years and management is FULL of dead weight that knows nothing of telephony other than how to dial their NON-FRONTIER telephones.

    We all know the Deland call center can not handle any calls they would have to if we strike. Most of local management hasn't been brought up-to-date on technical aspects of the business or if they have, they have little to no hands-on experience.

    Of course, upper management will be skiing in Vail or sunning on the Rivieria for the holidays. They don't really care one way or another. Too bad the investors don't see this company for what it really is- typical corporate America treating its employees like garbage.

  100. V.P. of all things Vice PresidentialOctober 29, 2010 at 8:36 AM

    In regard to the company's new "outfit" and to an earlier post I found the OSHA regulations regarding clothing:

    Paragraph 1910.269(l)(6)(iii)-The employer shall ensure that each employee who is exposed to the hazards of flames or electric arcs does not wear clothing that, when exposed to flames or electric arcs, could increase the extent of injury that would be sustained by the employee. This apparel standard applies to all apparel worn by an employee exposed to the hazards of flames or electric arcs.

    For example, paragraph 1910.269(l)(6)(iii) applies to an employer who provides personal protective clothing worn by an employee for protection against cold or rain when also exposed to the hazards of electric arcs or flames.

    The Apparel Standard does not serve to protect workers from direct injury due to electric arc or flame exposure, as would PPE; it simply prohibits clothing that would make even worse any injuries caused by that exposure. Under this rule, flame resistant and flame-retardant-treated clothing is acceptable under all conditions. Clothing made from untreated polyester, acetate, nylon, or rayon, alone or in blends, is prohibited, unless the employer can demonstrate that the clothing is worn in such a manner as to eliminate the hazard involved. Clothing made from 100 percent natural materials, such as cotton and wool, is acceptable if the clothing will not ignite under the electric arc and flame conditions found at the workplace.

    *** I have sent this infot to Gil and have copied the link below for anyone who might be interested in the entire code.

    another excerpt:

    The employer must train employees who are exposed to flames or electric arcs regarding apparel-related hazard covered by paragraph 1910.269(l)(6). This training must also comply with paragraph 1910.269(a)(2)(i), which requires training in safety practice. Apparel-related work practices include selection of the proper types of clothing and work methods that minimize exposure to electric arcs and flames. For example, employees who are exposed to the hazards of electric arc or flames must be trained that wearing apparel made wholly or in part from prohibited materials can ignite or melt and could increase the extent of injury even if worn under other fabrics that do not ignite.

  112. Solidarity ROCKED the meetings and the numbers are in! For the few (very few) that voted "no", look to the senior members of the Union for guidance and support. We have been there. We were the new guys before and know and understand the fear that comes with each contract negoation period and the idea of a strike. However, the very idea of a Union is to stand as ONE for what we deserve and earn. We're not asking for silver spoons here, just a fair wage and decent benefits as well as some security. These things are worth standing up, and even fighting for! Only together will we prevail.

    Don't drink the Kool Aid! Stay strong and United.

  113. Todd,

    Did you really think your heartfelt speech was going to stop us from voicing our opinions. This is how the employees feel. Frontier has no respect ....I repeat no respect for it's craft workers. we were lied to with the furlough, money taken right out of our pockets... and you should be pissed to. We have aright to voice our concerns, good or bad ,this is our place to tell our story, the truth. Like mama always said " sometimes the truth hurts". you talk about hurtful comments, well the truth hurts. You think your lies don't hurt us. while the executives take very good care of themselves the customers and craft are hurting.
    Don't like what your reading? stop looking . All you did was light a fire and this is about to explode . Have a great weekend :)

  114. Read this, WOW over a 100% increase in 2 years! And they want to low ball us! CWA is voicing their concerns and I am sure they are watching this bargaining closely!

    Frontier Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman Maggie Wilderotter saw her total compensation increase by 74 percent in 2008. That was in addition to a 33 percent increase in 2007. Meanwhile, total shareholder return fell by 24 percent in 2008 after having dropped by 5 percent in 2007.

    CWA Vice President Jimmy Gurganus said "the increase from last year shows that stockholders are becoming even more frustrated with the compensation practices of Frontier's Board. There truly is a disconnect between executive compensation and shareholder value at Frontier. This is not pay for performance. This Board simply does not get it."

    While the measure did not receive a majority, and the company is not required to adopt the shareholder proposal, Gurganus called on the Board to give serious consideration to adopting the measure. "The failure to obtain a majority suggests serious doubt as to whether the Board reflects the interests of Frontier stockholders," he said

    You know if we did not have the union then we would be up sh** creek with out a paddle. Example SH** pay, health care and no one who would stand up for us when CINDY V. loses her cool. Oh and Mag too.

  124. "CWA Vice President Jimmy Gurganus said "the increase from last year shows that stockholders are becoming even more frustrated with the compensation practices of Frontier's Board. There truly is a disconnect between executive compensation and shareholder value at Frontier. This is not pay for performance. This Board simply does not get it."

    GO JIMMY!! YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH!!

    Stockholders need to OUST this management before they drive this company into the ground.

  126. Hey management- stock up on uniforms- FOR YOURSELVES!!! Have an awesome holiday working 24/7 doing jobs you have no clue how to do. Oh and be careful, some of the company vehicles are a tad rusted out and can get drafty. Walk around town with that Frontier logo on and have a blast trying to dodge the anger of the customers that will be getting crap for service because management decided to be asses about negotiating a fair contract.

    I have to go get my nails done and pad the ass of my pants- I'm going as Maggie for Halloween! Wheee!

    ReplyDelete
  127. Is it just me, or does it sound like management is getting a bit nervous? They should be! We have had enough of being taken from and won't put up with it any more. Do they think they can do our jobs,for even a day? They may just have try! Team 363 is an a roll, don't get in the way of this train!

  128. enough is enough, sucks when your boss gives you crap for things that are out of your control. can't wait to see the employee survey next year. Todd, your numbers are a tad off... just a few that are dissatisfied with frontier. try counting again 94% of how many ? your smart I'll let you do the rest

    ReplyDelete
  129. Have a positive attitude..Bite me.. I am sick and tired of being taken advantage of. Your workers can only take so much! If you REALLY appreciate our efforts then give us a fair contract!!!!! I am fed up and angry and bitter! I am through feeling this way! Enough Maggie, Todd, Ellen, Catherine, Jim, etc! I will have a positive attitude when we get a FAIR Contract! Thanks Janet and the negotiating team! Thank you! STAY STRONG 363! 94% is fantastic!

  130. Wow 94% way to go my brothers and sister, we are not I repeat we are not drinking the kool-aid and yes that 15minute quick meeting "Oh please stop, the company is good to you because you have a job" really we are all pissed off in how you treat us and we still continue to be loyal employees the only ones you have left.

    Remember Frontier that even though we are so freaking angry and pissed we continue to provide the services that we are not getting paid enough to do.

    How dare you asked us to be gentle and nice, DO YOU FRONTIER KNOW WHAT NICE, FAIR IS?

    Look up the meaning than come back to me if you want to review it.

    My momma always told me don't stand up for what you believe and that is WHAT WE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE DOING!!!!

    So Frontier when Monday gets here, come to the table with a FAIR CONTRACT!!!

  131. History repeats itselfOctober 29, 2010 at 8:31 PM

    Solidarity! Some shareholders, management, and others think that unions are bad. Anyone remember Lech Walesa? He was the leader of the Solidarity movement in communist controlled Poland. Anyone remember what happened? Well, I'll tell you. His solidarity movement that consisted of shipyard workers spread across the country and led to Poland's freedom and the eventual fall of the SOVIET UNION!! IBEW and CWA will stand UNITED IN SOLIDARITY!! We WILL PREVAIL!!! Management is SCARED and they should be!! A UNION brought down a TYRANNICAL system, A UNION can bring down an unfair and TYRANNICAL MANAGEMENT!!! DON'T drink the KOOL AID!!! Stand together in SOLIDARITY!!!!!

  132. I think we have the strength to get through this strong--thank you negotiating team--Please try to get us job security for the life of the contract. If we can get what we deserve and secure our jobs for life we will be sitting pretty. GO 363!

  133. There are some concerns about this blog. I think it's great, the truth shall set you free. Hey Todd, why don't you guys start your own blog . There you can say positive things. This site is about real life ,not the rosie image you wish the share holders and public should see. These people are sick of princess magies shit to. 100% increase and you can't meet us with a fair contract. well your about to get a good dose of union sh!t. IBEW,CWA how many contracts areup here shortly.

  134. I'm glad we had our little pep talk today. It made me feel good about the hard work our union is putting forward. The company is so worried about there image. Keep it up and Time warner will steal all our customers when we walk. The 1st thing I'm doing is telling my extended family to remove thier frontier services and port to time warner until this little issue is resolved.

  135. good job reading the transcripts today puppets!!!! if you have had enough of the negativity then just give the union a fair contract!!! It is real simple....Every contract i have gone through i have lost something, it gets worse and worse, we give into your furlough only to have the Verizon sale announced the very next day, we help with the acquisition and 300 WV legacy employees do nothing and receive $5000 and we are screwed again... Now its negotiation time and Management (the enemy) wants to screw us even harder!!! So how long did you think we where gonna just sit there and take it??????

  136. It is a shame it's come to this. Maggie , you and your team should be ashamed of yourselves. Sad we used to be a great company...so,so,sad. Maybe there is still hope you'll do the right thing. We are not fooling around and you'll soon see

  137. The following is an E-Mail sent to the Sherburne Plant Center Today by "Management". This,following a short Meeting held for Some Employees early this Afternoon:

    "As you are all well aware, contract negotiations between Frontier and IBEW 363 are continuing. As is often the case, the atmosphere can become a bit "charged". I understand the role of the union in the workplace, and have often said that being a good union member and a good employee are absolutely synonymous. I respect the union and the bargaining team.

    What I don't respect are the hurtful and mean statements I have recently read regarding my coworkers. I would not treat anyone in that manner, and feel that it dehumanizes the relationships that have made this center great. Working together to beat Our competition (typically non-union by the way) is our goal.

    Please let's keep our honest disagreements civil."

    The "hurtful & mean statements" mentioned above were regarding a few posts, since removed, directed at Two Company Supervisors. While the Statements were in poor taste, I feel confident that none of My Brothers and Sisters were involved.

    I would caution any Frontier Management Personnel to avoid further accusations against Craft Members, regarding the posts on this BLOG. Did the Individual, Who sent the above E-Mail Today, ever consider that the mean comments might've been posted BY ONE OF THEIR OWN?? It's no secret that Management Employees have NO PROTECTION, afforded to Craft Members. We all know this society is a "Dog eat Dog" free for all. As poorly as Frontier treats It's craft employees, They treat Their fellow "teammates" worse. Craft Employees tend to be much more loyal to Their Own, than Management Employees are.

    MESSAGE TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS: do NOT let the above E-Mail stop Your enthusiasm or spunk. Keep the comments coming.

    MESSAGE TO FRONTIER MANAGEMENT: the above E-Mail will NOT stop this Blog. If that is Your aim, You will FAIL. To TODD RULISON. If You're against Free Speech, then move Your Rear-end to IRAN or N KOREA. 363 will NOT BE DENIED. The truth lives Here and will continue. LET'S GO 363!!

  138. The fact of the matter is that these negative feelings didn't just arise in conjunction with the contract being negotiated. This blog just became the sounding board we needed because, as we all know, we can't voice our true feelings at work because the "open door policy" means "open your mouth and we'll find a way to shove you through the door".

    The managers at Frontier are bullies- pure and simple. They use scare tactics and intimidation with employees. The statements appearing on this blog are the real deal and they have been festering for a very long time.

    Why should ANY employee worry about the feelings management has about this blog? Management didn't care one iota about lying to us, taking our money and handing it over to Verizon and WV. They don't care about raising our health premiums and then not giving us raises that will even cover the higher premiums. So why would the employees care that management thinks there's too much negativity being aimed at them? Guess what? No one cares that your local managers are reading the "concerned letters from corporate" to us. We're done caring anything for what you think (I'd add "feel" but I doubt the Ice Queen of Stamford actually feels anything).

    And, by the way management, thanks for the HUGE laugh we got out of your reasoning for taking away the day after Thanksgiving! Yes, customers are just waiting for that day so they can call Frontier and do their Black Friday shopping! That was truly hysterical and if it's an indicator of the IQ of upper management- well good luck! I'd LOVE to see sales numbers from that day for Frontier.

    Guess what Maggie- we're just not as stupid as you would lead your friends to think we are. The demise of this company is directly in your hands if you continue to play games with the unions.

    Take that to your stockholders.

  143. my speech - you listen upOctober 29, 2010 at 10:02 PM

    My speech for management -
    I agree with the a post above. Does this blog allow management to have a spine. To feel this may be an anonymous place to support craft. Where they don't have to be affraid of losing there job.
    That is what I love most about unions - I CAN SAY WHAT I THINK.
    I have always seen in my career with Frontier that management is a bunch of "yes men". When ever you ask them what they really think they always give you that stupid look. They always say yes to upper management and no to craft. They always , refrain from saying - you have good ideas and I support you. They can't be that naieve to not think what is good for craft is also good for management.
    So, management in Frontier. Get your spine back. Let corporate stay spineless for now. There may be no hope for them. They are the profit horders and justify there lives beause of money. There lives are meaningless when they are gone.
    Come back to your true self.
    Every customer I meet has the same attitude when I come into there homes. They want customer support. They want happy people. Proud of the company that supports there work force.

    Enough said....

  144. Frontier PsychologistOctober 29, 2010 at 10:35 PM

    Hey Maggie- is your daddy all proud of his little girl and how she treats her employees? Does he beam with pride at your tyrannical ways? Does he pat his little girl on the head for putting those bad "middle class people" in their places? Did he teach you how to crush a hard worker with one spiked pump while sipping a martini? Did he congratulate you when you formed your trust and started shoveling Frontier stock in it so you will have the very best state-of-the-art nursing home for yourself in a year or two? Does he gush to his friends about how you live in a McMansion because you learned to deftly pick the pockets of your employees? Did you learn at his knee how to lie to an entire company without any shame at all?

    When you look in the mirror do you see that little girl he's so proud of? Or do you ever glimpse the truth and see what you really are? Is there even a reflection in that mirror? You sold your soul a long time ago, didn't you? Corporate America owns it now, don't they? Them and the almighty dollar, because you can never have enough of those, can you? You can try, but money will never fill that big empty space inside of you, will it? Is it because you're the last or because you weren't a boy?

    In any case-you are a product of your environment. You can change things now-repent in some small way and be fair with the unions. But you won't, will you? That would disappoint Daddy Dearest, wouldn't it?

    To think, a "legend in her own mind" CEO is just a small girl with a severe lack of self esteem, a lack of sense of right and wrong, and no soul.

    Still proud of her Daddy?

  145. ~~~ENOUGH,IS REALLY ENOUGH!~~~WE AGREE 100%~~~~

    THE TRUTH IS ANGER DOES MAKE PEOPLE NEGATIVE

    IT IS GOOD FOR US TO TALK WITH EACH OTHER AND FEEL VALIDATED FOR HOW WE FEEL.IT IS UNHEALTHY FOR US TO HOLD ALL THIS RESENTMENT IN.

    THERE WAS A TIME WHEN WE MANY OF US COULD SAY THEY TOOK PRIDE IN WORKING FOR FRONTIER.

    GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PAY, GREAT BENEFITS!THAT FAR OUTWEIGHED THE STRESS MOST OF THE TIME.

    BUT NOW EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED, THINGS ARE VERY WRONG IN THE COMPANY. THE PAY IS GONE, THE BENEFITS ARE GOING, AND THE GREAT PEOPLE ARE SCATTERED!

    THE SINCERE APPRECIATION WE HEAR FROM OUR CUSTOMERS THAT ARE SO HAPPY WHEN WE FINALLY HELP THEM AND FIX THEIR PROBLEMS OR GO ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEM, IS ALL WE HAVE TO KEEP US GOING! IT IS NOT ABOUT SELLING THEM SOMETHING.

    BUT THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAVE ALWAYS DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO, WE ARE THE HEART OF FRONTIER BUT WE DO NOT FEEL APPECIATED, IF WE DID THEN NONE OF US WOULD FEEL THE NEED LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD!

    WE ARE ANGRY? BECAUSE OUR WAGES ARE GONE!!!!

    THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS-GONE FROM OUR PAYCHECKS ANNUALLY!

    AND...

    OUR MORTGAGE ESCROW'S AND TAXES, HAVE INCREASED

    OUR HEATING, ELECTRIC, AND WATER ALL INCREASED

    GAS, FUEL, FOOD, NOW HEALTH INSURANCE, ALL INCREASED

    WE CANNOT BUT HELP TO FEEL HURT BY HAVING OUR WAGES TAKEN AWAY FROM US AND OUR FAMILIES

    WE FEEL BEAT ON, KICKED DOWN ,CHEATED, USED, AND ABUSED!!!

    WHAT I HEARD TODAY WAS SCOLDING, LIKE YOU WOULD A CHILD...WE REALLY DO CARE...WHY FIGHT US?

    ~~~~~~OF COURSE WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE A JOB~~~~~~
    ~~~~~~OF COURSE WE DO NOT WANT TO STRIKE~~~~~~~~

    ~~~~~BUT THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST A FEW UNHAPPY GROUPS OF PEOPLE, THERE ARE MANY AND MANY MORE~
    ~~~~~YOU CAN STOP ALL OF THIS VERY EASILY~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WORK WITH US~~~~~~

    ~~~~~~~NOT AGAINST US~~~IT IS THAT SIMPLE~~~~~~
    WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR SOME POSITIVE FEEDBACK COMING BACK FROM BARGAINING****NOT NEGATIVE!
    WE DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE (THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT TO TAKE AWAY)***ENOUGH ALREADY*******
    WHAT WE WANT TO HEAR IS (THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT TO GIVE YOU BACK) AND WE WANT IT TO BE EVERYTHING WE LOST AND A RAISE $$$$$$$$$$$$$
    WE HAVE WAITED PATIENTLY AND FEEL DISRESPECTED BY THESE OFFERS?
    AND MAYBE IT IS NOT DONE PERSONALLY TO ALL OF OUR FACES.
    BUT IT IS DONE BY THE ACTION'S OF THE COMPANY, THE BAD NEWS TACTICS, AND QUITE HONESTLY, THE SNEAKY BACK DOOR WAY OF TAKING AWAY OUR COMMISSION-WHICH IS AN IN YOUR FACE SLAP!
    SO WE ASK YOU NOW THAT WE ALL AGREE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH****ARE YOU READY TO PLAY FAIR?********
    WE CANNOT WALK AWAY THIS TIME, WE CANNOT WORRY ABOUT WHAT IF'S? WE CANNOT GIVE IN, WE CANNOT GIVE UP, BECAUSE NOW IS THE TIME TO GET WHAT WE DESERVE AND WE FEEL WE WILL BECAUSE THIS TIME AROUND YOU CAN FEEL THE ENERGY, THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE, THE EXCITEMENT OF UNITY, OUR WORDS SPEAK THE TRUTH AND YOU KNOW IT!
    I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY UNION MEMBERS UNITED LIKE THIS AND IT IS A GREAT FEELING KNOWING THAT WE HAVE EACH OTHER AND WE ARE IN THIS FOR THE LONG HAUL**TOGETHER***UNITED***LIKE NEVER BEFORE!
  149. Fellow Brothers and Sisters: Here is a Company-Generated Post in "Frontier Chatter"-- which is a PSC Monthly Newsletter. I thought this would be a perfect subject for Us to comment on Here, since It's a RARE INDIVIDUAL that feels comfortable giving Their TRUE OPINION about how They feel about working at Frontier, when ASKED BY A MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT (as was happening Nov 11th in the Sherburne Center).
    And I Quote, verbatim:
    "Keeping & attracting more customers- sounds difficult to achieve, right? In reality it is not- it requires each of us to take ownership of the product- in the workplace we must make sure that every order is handled as if it were for a family member. Outside the workplace we must be good stewards for the company- explaining the values of our service along with our commitment to our community"
    Comment away Brothers and Sisters, Keep it clean. But, otherwise, no holds barred. Let's give this Company's Management Team what they SAY THEY WANT: THE TRUTH, no sugar coating allowed. To 363's Negotiating Committee: 4:30am?? Wow, You folks have My ultimate respect and Admiration. We have Your back.
