  1. Merry Christmas to all my IBEW Brothers and Sisters. Yup just as expected I got my retro check in the mail today but the banks were closed by the time my mail was delivered so I guess I'll be waiting til Monday to cash it. WAH gets the shaft again. Next time just get our paychecks right.

  4. I hope everyone had a wonderful day with their families. Now we must start digging out from the snow storm. At least the snow is like powder instead of the heavy wet snow.

  5. Just a humerous note that would really tick 159 people off if they thought about it too much but the people who voted "yes" on the contract in my department are already beginning to complain about the size of their raises and the medical increase. Go figure.

  7. someone must not know how to calculate cuz mine hasnt raised beyond my raise. Cant we just start thinking about the future instead of something that we never be changed. We cant have a re-vote. Let's get on with it and start thinking about next time.

And by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR'S

  8. Oh funny must be the same people that will complain about the other things and sit back and do nothing day after day and accuse us that want to make the difference and changes as being negeative and run to management when you mention on how to make the changes TOGETHER..tHESE PEOPLE LOVE TO SIT BEHIND THE COMPUTER AND COMPLAIN yet will not stand up for themselves or the cause, they know who they are!!!! Every dept has them!!

  10. The whole process left a very sour taste in my mouth. But when people go spineless after promising a fight that's bound to happen. We might as well just say "yes" NOW to whatever they offer us in 24 months. No amount of yapping and getting our fight up is going to make a bit of difference. 299 people made sure of that.

  11. I agree to a point but as a unit (WAH) we could make changes to the everyday stuff we deal with if we stuck together, the calls are routed the revernue per call etc, but we can not get 15 reps to agree at any time we need stand up united for the chnage the all say the want so badly. We still have a voice within that contract to make soe changes. Think about it.

  12. As a WAH rep I am tired. Sick and tired of the crap. Tired of being told how much our sales suck. Tired of being measured against other offices when we all know calls are routed. Tired of more work on us and other area's getting the credit. Tired of fixing orders from other area's and from telemarketers and I don't get the sales credit for it they do. I voted no. I will accept that this contract passed because thats how the vote went. But what I can't accept is people thinking we have to sit down and take this crap that is dealt to us on a daily basis. Enough is enough. We need to start seeing more people attending union meetings. If you can't come to every meeting thats ok...come to every other one. If you need to come a little late thats fine...come when you can. But please go to the meetings...speak up and show that we are still united.
