Expanding on the Post above from "a Sherburne Plant Center Member"... I'd also like to Thank Our Unit 43 Officers, Jim Currie, and Every single Sherburne Employee. Folks, It's the Quality & Knowledge of Our Center's Employees that is making Tommy, Gil, Jeff & Jim Currie's jobs Easier in attracting Work to Our Center. Sure, every center has issues. However, when You have the People listed above, We can overcome ANYTHING!! Kudos to all. Let's all stay POSITIVE. It Matters!!

  8. Who Do You Think Said This !!!April 12, 2011 at 10:06 PM

What show are you watching!!!!! This is to the dragging feet comment. All I see is jobs coming. In the last year i believe the amount of jobs that has come to NY has to be almost 100 jobs.

I ASK YOU DRAGGING FEET, WHAT OTHER ASSURANCE DO YOU NEED. ISNT 100 JOBS ASSURANCE.

If you are speaking about WAH, if you want to put a positive spin on it is we are working and we are getting 12 more jobs. Yes we deserve more pay but hopefully that will change some day

  9. By the middle of the summer I was told that we will have over 95 new jobs in the central.

I love dragging feet !!! If we drag a little longer maybe we will get 200.

i am just joking, i hope all our areas start to see headcount increase. If we do then we know everyone benefited. Thats what is all about teamwork and one hand helping the other hand !!!

Frontier Does what they want when they want BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE AND AREAS LET THEM!!!!!!!!!

IF WE ALL ARE ONE !!!!!

THEN BY GOLLY LETS START SHOWING IT AND STAND UP AND SHOW YOUR SOLIDARITY, NOT YOUR SELFISHNESS !!!!!!

LETS START BY PROMISING NOT TO STOP THE FIGHT UNTIL DECUYKE DELIVERS JOBS TO THE NORTH

  11. A few comments regarding the Employee Survey:
    1) Frontier does not care what your opinion is about anything. Period! If they cared anything about you or valued you at all they would have taken better care of you during contract negotiations.
    2) This survey is a measurement ONLY of your attitude and will be used against you when the time is appropriate.
    3) If you think your supervisor is not checking his/her “Witness Agent” to see what you wrote about them, think again. Another reason why MANY will not be truthful.
    4) If this survey is so confidential why then are supervisors walking around asking “did you do the employee survey?” and then getting pissed off when you tell them no. None of their business since it’s so confidential. Making them look bad to upper management.. Seems that in and of itself should tell the company something. Silence speaks loudly.
    5) You want me to have a good attitude? Treat me with RESPECT and give me a pat on the back once in a while. And this means EVERYONE not just your k/a’s. Many of us are busting our backsides for this company and NEVER, NOT EVER get an acknowledgement for it. How unfortunate it is in this company to have to kiss your supervisors butt to be considered a valued employee. Now THAT is pathetic.

  13. One Night In Stamford you could not be more correct. The company will continue to pick us apart one by one unit by unit because WE allow them to....PEOPLE we are ONE YEAR away from neogtiations!!!!!!!!!!!!! MANAGEMENT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Here's My Employee SurveyApril 16, 2011 at 9:15 PM

    1. I do NOT trust Frontier Management to make decisions IN THE BEST INTEREST OF IT'S EMPLOYEES.

    2. I would NOT recommend Frontier as a "Great Place to Work". The Medical Professionals in My area HATE this Company for the tons of Stress that inept and evil Front Line Supervisors and Management Support Personnel put on the Craft Employees. However, Lawyers LOVE this Company- great for Business, Harassment & Discrimination cases Galore.

    3. My Immediate Supervisor DISRESPECTS ME on a REGULAR BASIS.

    4. This Company does a POOR JOB matching Employee TALENT with the PROPER JOB FUNCTION.

    5. Frontier's Policy of "Micromanaging" Is KILLING Employee Morale and Productivity. Cut the Management Workforce IN HALF and watch Morale AND Productivity EXPLODE!!

    6. Your Customers are leaving in DROVES. Do You REALLY want to know Why?? Here's the TRUTH:
a, POOR HSI Svc, oodles of Trouble Reports prove this, take a look!!
    b. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE in Your DELAND FL And BURNSVILLE MN Call Centers. The Customers I attempt to sell Our Products to (through "take the lead") tell Me that- when They call, They constantly hang up the Phone, hoping to get a NEW YORK (WAH) REP.
    c. DISRESPECTFUL Treatment of Union Employees. Yes, that's right- Our Customers place a HIGH REGARD in How the Company Treats It's Local Employees-- that is, what's left of Them. Customers in My area tell Me They lost A GREAT DEAL of respect for this Company when They closed the Gloversville Call Center in 2007.

In Closing, Employees hear "Needs of the Business" quite often- mostly as an excuse for mistreating Employees. However, Consider what the "Business" consists of. The fact of the matter is- there would be NO BUSINESS without the dedicated Union Employees giving top notch service every Day. The business would, however, survive without Maggie, Danny M, Dan S, Cecelia M, Pete H, etc... The 2010 Compensation raises COLLECTIVELY would've been better spent upgrading Company Equipment to provide better Phone and HSI Service!!!

  16. little birdy of the north country, how about also b blaming all her inabilities on one tech supervisor, and some techs taking co trucks home every night and using them as personal vehicles on the weekend. wonder what the liability of that will be when there's an accident

  17. good post hers my survey, tells it like it is, unfortunatly management always twists the truth around, last time they were slammed, they replied with, that it was expected because of a high turnover, bullcrap

  18. I hear alot of our engineers are leaving in droves and going to time-warner, cause they know the excutive board is stealing as much money as they can get before they close the doors on us for good

  19. To WAH Reps...supervisors are starting to send us e-mails with information about 'close ratios'. Please know that this is not a gate that affects P4P and cannot be used against you. Do not let them intimidate you with these numbers. This is nothing we need to be concerned with. They will try to make you think differently but do not buy into the scare tactics.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Close ratios not in our contrct can not be used, unless we let that happend.. we again need to stand together and say NO to that one...
