  1. Is it true that the company plans on laying off 300 employees nationwide. Where will they be coming from???????????????

  2. No Layoffs in CTF !!!September 20, 2016 at 8:16 AM

Well lets put it this way, if the layoffs are true and not a rumor we know none of the layoffs will be coming from California, Florida or Texas. When they came into Frontier they signed a contract that puts them thru 2019 and no layoffs for the length of their respective contracts.

Maybe some of the original Frontier properties can get that!

    1. I have been told that Connecticut also has a no lay off in there contract. Not looking good for NY. Now is the time for us to stand UNITED.

    2. Who exactly do they think they can afford to lose right now? We just hired a bunch of temps because we can't handle the workload we have in Sherburne as it is.

    3. Where exactly are these rumors from??

    4. No layoff until their contract expires. CT will probably be gone after that. Frontier laying off after they have met their contractual obligations in purchased territory is standard operational procdure. They want the customers NOT the employees.

  4. My biggest concern is the difference in pay between the Tier III assigners and the rest of the assigners. If we are not going to be given equal pay, we should not be doing equal work. I for one will be looking for other employment if this doesn't happen and I know a lot of the other Tier III's feel the same way.

  9. Where we sit in this company is not aways good.. Frontier looks at us as a warm none computer Body....... The systems they us works like $%^& and they still need humans to do it. We need to stick to gather and be strong as a group and FIGHT THE COMPANY NOT EACH OTHER! STAND BY THE UNION DON'T LET FRONTIER PUSH YOU... PUSH BACK AT THEM NO BS FROM THEM.... Many ways to skin the cat.... Like all calling in sick at the same time for 2 days in a row.... If they think we will take any contract they put out SAY NO!! Till it is a Great Contract for all. We might have to PLAY HARD BALL like Verizon workers did. But we need to stick to gather and NOT PICK A PART UNION MEMBERS FOR SPELLING OR WORDS 1 MAY SAY. LET ALL JUST BE A TEAM PUT THE DIFF A SIDE AND DO BETTER FOR TOMORROW AND THE FUTURE AND KEEP JOBS IN NY.. NO REPEAT FROM THE LAST CONTRACT......... I my self want better for all of us. No 1 can do it better then a 363 NEW YORKER!!!! ***ROCK ON TEAM*** WE can make a diff....

  10. I have a lot to say with probably not enough room to write it! I'll try to hit only the key things that tick me off! Something I've observed over the years: The larger we've grown, the worse our customer service has gotten. We WERE a very successful company with happy customers, UNTIL we took on Verizon territories and their way of doing things. "Don't fix what ain't broke!" We WERE a very well oiled machine that ran smoothly and now our processes and procedures have gotten out of control. Remember the days where you could get same day service, or a repair issue corrected in 24-48 hrs tops? Well not any more! The larger the company has grown the worse our customer service has gotten because it's all about revenue to them! Don't you think the customer's realize that, they dont like being treated as a number any more than us employees do. The old saying of "Happy Wife, Happy Life" comes to mind here. It has been far too long that we have done and done and done for this company with NOTHING in return. EVERY contract we have gotten screwed and the company laughs because they think we're weak and that we will cave into their fears. WE WILL PROVE THEM WRONG THIS TIME! I MYSELF HAVE NOT WORKED 2 CENTURIES OF MY LIFE WITH THIS COMPANY TO REPEATEDLY GET CRAP IN RETURN FROM THEM!

  11. I wish there was a way to make this site password protected for UNION members only. Do you realize what idiots we look like to the company when we can't even take the time to full spell words and spell them correctly? (You do realize they can see literally everything posted). Trust me I am not giving digs to those who choose to abbreviate and whatnot or have poor grammar skills, I just feel that possibly the company will bargain in good faith with those who appear to use their education and put it to good use rather than to those who appear lazy enough that they can't use proper English and punctuation . Who do you think the company will want to bargain fairly with, people who show they are respectful, educated individuals or a bunch of yahoos?

    1. Sorry not all of us went to college. But college doesn't mean you can work better then a uneducated person. In most fields in this company.
But they will know we mean business when we walk....
