Wednesday September 28 Update

Brothers& Sisters,

Today we continued our discussions at the table.

The three biggest issues we discussed today:

1. Day After Thanksgiving
2. A & L Policy
3. Dress Code

As we all know 1 & 2 are two of our top 3 proposals from the membership.  We will continue tomorrow morning.

Thank you for All Your Support!!!

OMAHA !!!!!!!

  4. When are they going to discuss equality in pay for Assignment. I am quite concerned with the fact that they haven't already. We do the same job as a moajority of the others in the higher tiers and even some of the complex assignment staff if not more. Some of us are even more so proficient in what we do and yet we sit here capping out at 15.83 when they cap out over 20 it's not right and until I see something on this "Blog" about that I am not Omaha for anything solidarity is giving all of us what we are asking for or at least fighting for what we ALL want! Fight for Tier III to get better pay and I will fight/stand with you.

  5. Not too sure what the point of it is anymore when all it does is give management more reasons to look down on us and laugh at us about it behind our backs. I am all about showing unity and standing together, but not at the expense of them laughing about it behind our backs. What good is it really doing?

Brothers & Sisters, PSC Employees: Here are ways that We can demonstrate Our Unity to the Company: 1. Visit the Blog Often, at least once per day and express Your views, be respectful. 2. Wear Your Union Shirt Every Monday. If You don't have one yet, no problem, You will eventually. 3. Use the IBEW logo for Your skype picture. 4. Every day in the PSC, at 10:30am, let's shout "OMAHA". I've been told by some that certain PSC Employees are NOT doing this, because "The Union is not telling Me to do it". I am a Union Rep, and You are allowed to do all four above freely. A Union allows Us ALL to speak as ONE LOUD VOICE, so let's do It!! Thank You. Let's stick together, great things can happen if We do.

  8. Good ideas. In collections, and all of southern unit 4, we should all wear red shirts and stand and shout OMAHA, every Friday at 10:30. Visit this blog often and declare your solidarity, the company is watching to see if you are.

PSC, as most commonly mentioned here, refers to the Plant Service Center (Sherburne NY).
