The 10 remaining language proposals deal with:

2. Part Time Employee
3. In Charge Pay
4. Make Up Time
5. Doctor Visits
6. Sunday Premium
7. Duration of Contract
8. Size of Bargaining Team
9. Cell Phones
10. Bridging

These proposals will be discussed in sync with our economic proposals.

Our next bargaining session starts Monday October 17th .  We are scheduled to meet the entire week.

  2. In Charge Pay should definitely be talked about because $0.90 cents an hour is an insult!

    1. Sure is...especially when I found out Rochester was making $3.25/hr for day training the FL conversion repair personnel, and WV was making comparable for day training as well, while Sherburne was making $.90/hr for night training...and the night people didn't need any additional training...huh

    2. In all honesty, the Company will continue to take, take, and take some more- until We stand as one, against the Corporate bullies, and demand better. The Verizon NY workers' strong stand earlier this Year proves that, even in these times, with a very weak economy, great contracts are still possible. Don't let the Poverty crying by Frontier fool You- this Company is very healthy (fiscally at least), and quite capable of taking much better care of the GREAT workers in this LU 363! There is absolutely NO NEED or justification for Lump sums The Corporate folks know NY is needed to "hold up" the entire Company. We need to DEMAND a HEALTHY GWI for EVERY YEAR OF THE NEW CONTRACT!! And, IBEW MEDICAL! And, an A&L Policy that rewards dependability and fosters fairness and respect. No Occurrences for using paid sick time, and for "tardiness" Are We adults in a professional workplace? Or in High School? If a worker is late for work, at/beyond 11 minutes, pay is docked, that is "punishment" enough. Further insults just suppress morale and productivity. We also DEMAND the day after thanksgiving be returned to a PAID, FIXED HOLIDAY for all. And, specific to Sherburne, We need the Tier 3 pay rates addressed so those deserving assigners are fairly compensated for their contributions to this great center. There is A LOT of ability and talent Here! If that is not rewarded, then it's being mocked. Do You get the point Frontier? So much for "pay for performance", right? A majority of those assigners have elevated the knowledge base in Sherburne, making Us all more knowledgeable. Folks, we only need to stand together, support each other, and be willing to fight to the end. I'm up for this fight. Are You? Join Me!
