Today we continue bargaining with the company. Our goal is to finish up contract language proposals this week. If we are able to finish our contract proposals this week we can begin on Monday October 17th with our economic proposals.
Last week Sam, Gil, Harry, Hank, Nancy and Jeff attended the TCC4 meeting were all of the IBEW Frontier Local Unions come together to discuss what is going on in their respective areas. We expressed our concerns and informed them about the issues at the table. All of our Brothers and Sisters from the other IBEW Locals have given us their support and will help us when we call on them.
Stay strong and committed to our cause and we will be able to achieve what we set out to do.

As years go by appreciation week becomes a bigger joke. Its an insult how new York employees get treated verses other states. A hot dog and a hat really? The worst is you were only able to have 1 hot dog. We quickly spread the word and they got stuck with plenty of dogs for management to enjoy. Now is the time to vote this down. They want this contract done and completed before November 1st so they can give out the 60day notices. Frontier you don't fool me anymore. Vote the contract down and continue until frontier realize what we truly deserve. Tired of living off the same salary for many years. The raises and lump sums have no justification for us since it goes straight into medical.

Too bad we here in NY are doing their work! Go ahead, threaten our jobs.....we know the other centers can't keep up! The actions of management here in NY speak loud and clear...stand united 363. We deserve so much more!
ReplyDeleteIn Sherburne we got a cheap bag, a pen, and some puzzles the managers printed off a free site...definitely makes me feel appreciated for spending most of my time working for this company and being away from my kids (eye roll)

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with this years CSW. I haven't been here that long but this was the worst yet! Plain & Simple.. It was a slap in our face! Where is the APPRECIATION? 1 hot dog, 1 & a half chicken nuggets, nachos with chili & cheese, some store bought salads from Walmart (Yuk!) & salad.. BIG DEAL! I would of been better off with some dollar menu items from McDonald's! There was nothing good about it! The desserts were good but the same ol thing we ALWAYS get! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO FRONTIER? #sad #aggravated #wemuststandtogether

I AGREE WITH 363's bargaining committee- We DO CARE about both, and so much more. I'm astonished at Sherburne management's arrogance and disgusted by the elitist manner in which You conduct Yourselves, specifically in Assignment. You all should be ashamed of Yourselves!! In truth, if not for the MANY intelligent and resourceful CRAFT Employees, NONE OF YOU WOULD HAVE JOBS. Many of You are completely incompetent, despite Your personal friendships with other Managers, and/or Kinko college degrees. Assignment would be a better functioning department if ALL CURRENT SUPERVISORS were FIRED and Team Leads took over.
ReplyDeleteToday I hear that Ftr thinks that we do not need to discuss the day after Thanksgiving --- Oh Yes we do --- and some how Ftr think we are happy with the A/L policy the way it is who cares we are all use to this ridiculous policy remember we know how to work the system.ifyou take 1 day make it 3 and don't think twice about it ...So Frontier get ready to Rumble because we are ready to fight and fight hard...
